A guy could make an old school looking go kart from this but these were made for heavy torque loads and run all day. They max out at 3600 rpm. This is what 9.2hp looked like back in the 50s and 60s. This is solid cast iron block and weighs close to 200lbs.
Not worth it to me. It's back to having a no spark issue, mohht he the coil but it ohms out fine so could be the magnets too getting weak. It's been tossed back into the back of the garage till another day.
Your engine is a 8 or 9 hp but i got one aeh model the one got is a 5.9 hp they were made to run on kerosene alter warm up on gas they have 3 compression rings it is built for heavy duty work top is about 2800 rpms and they an oil pump system when there running good a very long time .

That engine looks to be in nice condition . Hope you figure it out . Thanks for the video . I think they weigh a little over 120 lbs ?

Ps you can install a recoil start rope on that machine! Smiles...... add ons

After my grandparents died, I've found one of these engines in an old farm shed that looks like new... are they worth anything to anyone?
I gave $10 for this one off an old farmer. However your being your grandpa's, it's priceless.
