I remember this. Jazz had a 2-0 lead in this series. And they were up big in this game, then the offense died and they could not hit a thing down the stretch.

Yup probably the worst series loss I have ever seen as a Jazz fan. They had no business losing this.

That series was 19 years ago but as a Jazz fan here in 2020 I still got the same pain in my heart looking on this 4th quarter...unbelievable. I'm dreaming of this last Stockton's rebound, quick pass and then...- Malone's shot...wayyyyy... Damn... why he missed..... :(((

It is weird for me to see the Jazz in their jersey that they went to the finals with Stockton and Malone vs the Mavs in their old jerseys where they were deemed irrelevant yet see a young Nowitzki. I would never have thought this existed that there was this kind of overlap with an old era and one that extended just up to last season.

When he retired, Dirk was the last active player who had played against the Stockton/Malone Jazz in the postseason. Vince Carter is the only current player who ever played a game against the Stockton/Malone Jazz.
