@@markcook149 it was one of the reasons I chose the K7. It’s a grey soft rubber type of hose Karcher supply. Shame they don’t do similar with others in the range but then the K7 isn’t cheap.
Not long got a Karcher 3 a welcome gift from the wife, the supplied hose I think it's 7metres long, more than long enough to get fully around my SUV if you unfurl it walking it out to get it straight before you start takes about 20 seconds I've had no need to even think about changing it
Bought a hose for my Nilfisk from Direct Hose and it was terrible, they are legendary for their poor after sales so getting it returned and refunded was a bit of a faff but sorted eventually. Roll on two years and four dead Nilfisk machines and with more than a little trepidation I ended up getting one of their All Black 9 washers with a 20m hose reel, same hose you have there and it’s been a peach. The hose is easy to handle although it does stiffen up considerably when it’s pressurised. One thing I particularly like is that it doesn’t seem to snag on the tyres when you are pulling it around the car like other hoses do. For anyone wanting a better hose to fix the kinky issue you need a rubber single wire hose, the rubber shell gives it flexibility but has a steel wire wrapped around its length to prevent it from twisting.
Recently received my replacement hose from direct hoses, yet to use it, the plastic covers at both ends of the hose came like yours, loose so you can expose the quick fit connection ends, possibly a daft question but are they meant to be like this? And have you secured yours and if so how? Thanks.
Hi. Yes these are correct. I’ve just left mine the way they are. As I don’t leave my trigger gun permanently connected I find it’s easier to remove it be sliding the covers out of the way
Would you recommend to get the 15m instead of the 10m? Im thinking to get the 15m so that i can wash all around the car without having to move the machine. Thank you
The choice would be down to your own personal preference. I now have a Karcher K5 with the onboard hose reel and the 10m length is perfect, any longer and it wouldn’t fit onto the reel.
@@markcook149 yep, I used parcel motel a lot but since brexit they no longer let us ship to their warehouse in NI. Its a pain because I can't fins anywhere else that sells them.
@@DaveB89 Try post pal, register online with An Post, they'll give you a number and an address in England. Get your parcel sent there, it'll cost something like 8 Euro to get it delivered by An Post but I'm not sure if you'll have to pay extra for custom's coming into Ireland. Sometimes I've had to pay custom's and sometimes it just comes straight through. Hope this helps.
Nice videos mate , i got the 10m hose and stubby gun a while ago from direct hoses quality bit of kit and great service from them guys too 👍
Thanks for watching. From it’s first use I’m suitably impressed with it. It didn’t try to kill me once 😂
Yes it will just make sure your karcher is a quick connect
nice video sir, you might want to put a swivel on the stubbygun. It will permanently stop all forms of twisting👍👌
I got a K7 Compact last Black Friday and fortunately that came with a 10m quality hose that lays lovely and flat.
Wow, you got lucky. I've a K5 which came with a 10m hose, I've never uncoiled it, just fitted the direct hose replacement straight away.

I bought the 10m and study gun with swivel excellent bit of kit
I swapped my karcher hose for direct hose, it still twists but it's easier to unwise due to swivel I have
Liked the video just because you’re a funny guy 😂😂😂
Thank you 😊

Sounds like you had a few issues there, glad it’s all sorted now. My hose is great at the moment but I guess time will tell
@@markcook149how is it now and is there anything better on market now
@@Viewer765 it’s still working perfectly. I’m not using it as much as I used to but I can’t fault it. It’s definitely worth the upgrade
Great video

Hi how is the hose holding up am thinking of buying one ?
Hi. Sorry for this late reply. The hose is still going strong without any issues. I’d definitely recommend getting one if you’ve not done so already
Glad to see your still OK buddy

Do they do one for Karcher?
I REALLY want to get 1 of these but it seems Direct Hoses ship to everywhere from Australia to Canada but doesn't ship to Ireland for some reason
That sucks. Have you looked into a forwarding company like Parcel Motel? We used to ship to them weekly when I worked in internet retail?

They don't sent to Australia anymore

Provide link pls
Had one for years its 100% stopped all the swearing and kinking
Used for the first time in anger today and it’s definitely a massive improvement, a purchase well made I think 👍
If yoy need a long spring, buy a Kärcher!
Do they do a 15m?
Yes.
