First 3 dose of coffee is going to waste anyway while calibrating the machine, So I use that same coffee dose to pull espresso shots just incase if any chemicals may remain from previous day’s of cleaning coffee machine. After that the 4th espresso shot is to test the grinder is on the right grind size and if it meets the recipe requirements, if it doesn’t than we keep adjusting the grinder until it reaches the right grind size and the recipe requirements are fulfilled. The purpose of doing this is to maintain consistency throughout the service. There’s a set recipe we follow according to our coffee roasters. If not followed coffee can taste bad.
I am so addicted to your videos, I can watch them for hours and never get tired. Is there any tips you can give to a coffee lover (beginner) trying to become a barista? I am currently applying for a few barista jobs, they mostly want someone with experience and I have none, but I am willing to learn 🙏 Keep making these videos, cause we love it!!!
Glad you like them! In terms of getting a Barista job I would say look for jobs in Cafes with big chains since they are more likely to hire without any prior barista experience, that’s how I got my first barista job. Or you can apply for any position other than barista in a cafe, coffee shop or a restaurant if there’s a vacancy and you can develop your barista skills from there. Hope that helps.
Good to see new video of your barista workflow. Making me relaxed and learn every step you do. By the way, I'm gonna get to start on my new job very soon. Thanks for making me Inspired. Godbless bro.❤
Hello there. Is so nice to see you working in first person ( like a video-game) But it would be nice to be tour costumer one day and try your coffee. Becaue I dont feel fancy about Costa or Nero which the coffee taste nothing. So that's why the taste of a local coffee shop and the counter of pastries and sweets it means a higw different comparing woth the big franchise. But here's the challenge, could I know the address?. Good day
thank you my friend appreciate you kind words!! we are based in west London speciality coffee shop called 87 degrees, do pop in whenever you are in the area.
Why waste such a large amount of coffee?
