Hi Adam, you should look into the Engine Guard temperature monitor. It bolts directly to the block, trans, radiator etc and gives you a real-time temperature reading independent of coolant.
This is why I have the evcX as it’s Bluetooth controllable and also if you put it in lock mode it disables the pedal so it cannot be used and take take the controller with you
Hello and thanks for the review. I just installed my pedalbox pro in my vw touran 1.5, 150 hp. Anyone experiencing a noise "buzzing" when pressing the pedal? It's like a air/buzzing soud coming from the pedal zone where the device is installed. I've never heard that before... Thanks in advance.
Hi Adam, longish time subscriber here. I noticed that you have black protectors behind your door handles on the BlueMax and they look great! If you’re happy with them can you tell me what they are and where you got them from please? Love and respect from Bunbury West Oz.
Cheers! Yep they've been on from almost new, was a late night eBay purchase that I actually haven't regretted 😂 If you search eBay for dmax door handle cover they'll come up
Hi , I have the same box and I love it in my MB because normaly the pedal is very ‘heavy’. When you run the perfectune program do I then have to push the pedal all the Way Down and also activate the kick Down funktion in the pedal?
Can you disable the fob for the immobiliser so that it relies only on the phone being in range? I don't want to have to carry the control fob away from the vehicle.
Thanks for the reply! I'm currently running an evc in my trailblazer - have been happy with that but contemplating one of these for a golf r. I'll assume that the same will apply for it. 👍🏽
Hi Adam, in Thailand we have something called an a-box which is the same, but better. It comes with a module that inserts into one of the spare slots by the fuse box. I've got one in my mu-x. I've had a pedal box before in my old car when I was in uk. Too big and hassle to use. Lookup a box so much better 😊
I have the abox in mine it is brilliant. I'm still offering Adam a free one for your channel. Need contact details pls 😉 We also have a cable module to disable the auto stop start in Thailand. I have that installed as well 😉😉 I've got the trac electronics mirror folding and anytime camera installed. All thanks to you Adam.
Hi, pbp code? Do you mean the password? Have a read of your instruction manual or quick start guide maybe, shows you where it's listed. Mine was on the back of that. Otherwise could always drop them a message?
I would like to know how all these modifications , to your Isuzu dmax might affect Warranty , if a case arises for you to make a claim , by the way i own a Mazda Bt50 2021 , sister to the Dmax. Cheers Garry
Warranty is generally only impacted on the parts you change (they of course have their own warranty) or if they impact something else. Eg if you replace your tyres with non factory and your engine blows up, your still covered
Have you or can you use it on an EV? I have an EV & love it, as acceleration is quick. However, i think there is some lag when you put your foot down from still. Its strange I know as most peeople don't say that about EV cars. I can just feel a little lag that i think can be resolved with this, should they work with EV card
@VideoShowMeHow it's weird, as its quick. Quicker than most cars off the mark, but it does feel like there's a slight lag before it shits. It could just be me lol
Most cars have a bit of lag tweaked in from factory for smooth driving so yeah if it's drive-by-wire and it's a little laggy, it technically should work, just gotta find on compatible with your pedal module
GOT IT. Had remote and phone within range and connected so that’s why the throttle immobiliser wasn’t working. The connected device, remote or mobile phone has to be out of range for the throttle immobiliser to actually immobilise the throttle. Obviously! Thus that explains how it immobilises, once locked and no connected device is within range it stays locked thus preventing thieves from stealing the vehicle.
These pedal boxes are not 100% safe they will cause over fueling thays the only way these work has the signal goes to ecu then to throttle body.. over fuel leads to soot built up black smoke from exhaust you will not see the smoke but if you see your exhaust tips when in sport or race you will notice. So longterm not good for engine or cat
@VideoShowMeHow so when the signal goes to ecu does it not tell when to inject the fuel or does it by pass that.. deffo makes car run richer that only way you'll be able to get differnt throttle maps
@VideoShowMeHow also I have one fitted and can tell start away from low revs the car is much more powefull and top end it not so this can only be achieved from more fuel been fed on from the beginning.. also why has the exhaust tips got black after the pedal box and before they wouldn't get black.. that over fuel
No, I'm sorry but they don't alter fuel tables in the ecu. They amplify the throttle position sensor signal, essentially making the accelerator more/less sensitive

Hi Adam this unit is unbelievable looking like iam going to change the unit I've got now
This is why I have the evcX as it’s Bluetooth controllable and also if you put it in lock mode it disables the pedal so it cannot be used and take take the controller with you
Is a handy feature I reckon
And the evcX is cheaper. I recently installed one and it's brilliant.

Yes
Hello, the pedal box doesn't recognize the gas pedal of my car, and I can't set it up. What could be the issue?
Sounds like plug may not be connected properly? If that is ok suggest disconnect your battery and reset
Can you disable the fob for the immobiliser so that it relies only on the phone being in range? I don't want to have to carry the control fob away from the vehicle.
Yeah you can for the DMAX, is in the manual under the anti-relay attack, bit of a button combo you do on the remote
Thanks for the reply! I'm currently running an evc in my trailblazer - have been happy with that but contemplating one of these for a golf r. I'll assume that the same will apply for it. 👍🏽
So basically there’s just a limit feature now compare too the original one is that the only difference??
@@periodahperioduhhhh8917 wireless and immobiliser are the main new features
I have the pedal box pro 7 months ago and it has stopped working. I'm sending you emails but you don't answer me

Hmm I mean if there's pedal lag then probably, just depends if there's one compatible

How do they over fuel? They have nothing to do with fuel, they simply amplify the tps signal
