  • I've rebuilt this Mesa Dual Rectifier for Mark Tremonti.
    It has the Hermansson 4 gain stages circuit.
    Both channels have a lot more distortion available, lower noise floor, better dynamic response, and a more musical EQ. I've installed my tightness control for both channels and re-voiced the "vintage mode" of the power amp section.
    Guitar straight into the amp, cab is loaded with V30.
    Please contact me if you want your Mesa Rectifier to sound like this one!

    I am so happy to see Henric get the recognition he deserves. His amps are the best! Hope more artists will come to him!

      @marcoramunno2100 his amps are unbelievable. Henric knows tones and most likely dreams in circuits.
      Viva la Hermansson!!

      Thank you! I build the same distortion circuit for both versions but the 2 channel has room for my tightness control.

    Love Mark, he is an inspiration. And he is leading the way on amp tones, too. His constant seek for awsome sounding hi gain amps is phenomenal. And this amp sound amazing, great work, I understand why Mark wanted an amp modded by you. Congratulations

    Are you changing your amp channel using the toggle switch on the guitar? How so?

    • @HermanssonAmplification
      @HermanssonAmplification  Год назад +3

      I don’t change channel of the amp I just change pickup on my guitar. I’ve rebuilt the distortion circuits so it clean up this way if you roll back the volume on the guitar 👍🏻

    • @nirgoth
      @nirgoth Год назад +1

      @@HermanssonAmplification the change in the amount of gain was so drastic that it almost seemed you were changing channel and pick up at the same time. So when you say you've rebuilt the distortion circuit so that it cleans up more when rolling back the volume, you mean you changed it on the amp?

    • @HermanssonAmplification
      @HermanssonAmplification  Год назад +3

      @@nirgoth, the whole distortion circuit is changed. I’ve installed the Hermansson 4 gain stages circuit in this amp.

    Sounds awesome!
    Very close to the JVM OD2 Orange.
    Thight n chunky.
    And that is why i switched to the marshall JVM.
    He does it all.
    But at a third of the price.
    At least in Europe.
    Awesome work though! 👍
