Celebrating Mother's Day once again by uploading highlights from my Mom's all time favorite player.
Shaq had a fantastic game in this one. 30 points on 13-24 shooting, 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocked shots. He was destroying the Bulls in the paint on both ends of the court. The Heat won 113-96 to wrap up the 2006 first round series in 6 games. This was one of Shaq's best games as a member of the Heat, silencing those who said he was over the hill.
When Shaq was on the Heat, the fan base wasn't bandwagon or annoying like it is today with today's Heat.

In 2006 the Heat had difficulties vs the Bulls, who were Young, dynamic, explosive… At 3-2 for the Heat, Shaq said before game 6 "give me the ball, and i will close that serie"...
Man I really missed this 06 Miami Heat team!!!
They were absolutely great that season.

Shaq played great against the pistons and the bulls. Obviously he did not play great in the finals but avery Johnson the mavs coach straight out said that they were going to triple team shaq all the time. He said he was not going to allow shaq to beat them like he did in the 3 peat years. He said he was going to force wade to step up. Wade did step up big time. But shaq was the better player leading up to the finals.
100% people love to rewrite history so tons of people who didn't even see the series just assume Shaq had no role in that championship it's ridiculous.

Seeing this reminds me of more chances that shaq blew to get more rings. This season you could see shaq was in great shape. But after they won in 2006 he got fat again. He should of won at least 1 more ring with wade in Miami.
Due to Wade's health, they didn't have any chance in 2007 or 2008. Shaq did return effectively in the 2nd half of '07 to lead Miami to a 16-7 record without Wade, including a 9 game winning streak, but no matter what kind of shape Shaq was in, he wasn't going to carry a team to contention at 35 without a healthy Wade. Their real missed opportunity came during their first year in Miami when Shaq was bothered by knee and thigh injuries in the second half. By the time Shaq was back around his usual level at the end of the ECF, Wade got injured and Miami blew a 3-2 lead to Detroit.
+Jeremy Solis well actually he had a pretty bad injury during the 2005-2006 season. He returned early and by the time the heat reached the finals the injury caught up with him.

It was reported that he arrived in training camp at 340 for the '05-'06 season, though he was reportedly as high as 382 during the 2002 playoffs.
Actually at this point they were the adolescent bulls
Toddlers Rose hadn't even arrived yet, they just grew up fast because I believe they made playoffs as soon as Gordon and Deng arrived
