Pastor Derek taught me "The Life & Teachings of Jesus" at Southern in 1992, and that was my favorite class! He made Jesus come to life; every class he would begin crying, as he would speak with such awe, love, and reverence, about the patience and kindness and grace of Jesus. Truly he is a humble man of God.
