@@kristianlimon5843 I actually passed all three test and obtained my CDL Permit! 🤗 It was easy for me I just listened to it continuously for about three days then went and took the test. But unfortunately I dropped out of truck driving school because I was having such a hard time straight backing, which everyone says is the easiest maneuver, obviously it’s not easy for everyone because in a class of 10 people, 5 of us had trouble backing. And the school I went to only give you 15 mins in the truck twice a day to practice because they have too many people in the class to allow you more than 15 mins at a time. So the rest of the 9 hours you’re just standing outside in the hot sun watching others get in and out of the truck. So I found a box truck position that pays $30 an hour to drive locally Monday thru Friday, so that’s when I dropped out of trucking and started working for them. Been here for 6 months now. And now that it’s the holiday season I’ve been getting lots of overtime on top of my $30 an hour. 🤗 I know I can make a lot more if I finished and got my CDL but I’m happy to be home every night and off every weekend. Over the road driving isn’t for everyone. But you can do this. You just keep playing the videos over and over and you will eventually know it like the back of your hand. Good luck hunn! 🤞🏽🤗
“The easiest way to spot the air compressor is to look for the air governor. The governor is usually silver cylinder with a black cap on top.” I don’t see a silver cylinder with a black cap on top in this illustration.
nice video that goes thru most of the non-mechanic subject of air brakes. Late 1990's all trucks had ABS on them , you should drain your air reserve tanks every night, uses wheel chokes instead of parking brake in cold weather....etc
I just passed the all 3 tests today, thanks for video
Congratulations! I wish I could take all 3 at the same time. I’m actually studying them one at a time. I passed one test I have two more to go. 🙏🏼
@@smileymore25how did it go for you?

In the section covering air tanks, the tank pictured is a fuel tank and not an air tank.
Thank you so much!

Newer trucks have a trailer brake lever that works with automatic tandem release... for sliding the tandems!
The air break test when they say written they mean you have to write out the whole answer or fill in the empty line spots answer?

Does this test apply to Connecticut residents
Parking brakes has two systems... the tractor you set the air... trailer brakes you release the air!
Do you have any videos for the general knowledge?
get the app "cdl prep" you will get almost all the right questions and answers. i did it.
Nice
Thank you, miss Ashley!
Newer trucks have an ABS or automatic braking system... the driver should never pump his brakes... hard braking the ABS will activate!
If you're properly schooled in truck driving you won't have to worry about all those problems!
