I don't like how a picture is being painted that every single intended parent is a shady person. My baby boy is 12 weeks old. I went to every single one of our surrogates doctor's appointments, I want to every ultrasound and schedule extra ultrasounds. When she was up being sick I brought her food. But she just needed somebody to talk to you about life in general I was there to talk to her. After she had the baby we stayed in the room together after the baby was born and I took her home from the hospital and dropped her home. She still comes over to see the baby and her son just had a birthday party and we took the baby over there and her family got to see the baby that she carried for us. Not everyone is just saying. I literally just talked to her like 5 minutes ago. She messaged me at midnight last night cuz her and her boyfriend was having a fight and I'm the person that she needed help from. Also our baby is genetically related to us. And to imply that just because someone needed an egg donor or a sperm donor and make them less of a parent is kind of cruel.
It's kind of cruel to use a woman as a vessel. We don't doubt you love the baby or even the mother but that just proves basic human decency. The thing is human beings can't be objects of contract, not to mention the extremely high risk this kind of pregnancy implies, as well as the treatments before and the psychological issues after that. Let's say you're a wonderful person, what about the consequences for the baby? I'll stop here because it baffles me how people can be so blind. Still, I wish you and all the people involved the best of lives 🤷🏻♀️
No, they don’t. Having a child is not a human right or essential need. Especially not if you can’t naturally have one. Sad for you, but women still owe you NOTHING. Plus children are not commodities. Women’s bodies are not commodities. The strong biological bond between mother and child IS not something that can just conveniently be severed, because you want to sell that child to someone else. Nor are women’s bodies, (thus women ourselves, because we ARE our bodies), there to service other people, or serve as paid incubators. We are HUMAN!!
