A wonderful Video! Must have been released in 1933 since all of the chevrolets in the factory shots are 1932 Chevrolets. This part of America is long gone and this film saves that heritage.

Wow, I love that dial-indicator jig at 11:45.
This is simply incredible stuff, but it is hard not to reflect upon how far we've fallen since then. It's really depressing.

Where has it all gone? Overseas. Never more do we say, "Only America can produce ..."

Made in the US by us with our money, going back into the US economy.
    We sure screwed that up.

this video blows my mind I mean I knew they had industry and cars and shit in the thirties but to see it actually in action is amazing to me. especially since this is during the great depression

This is modernity, industry and USA at is core. Look at Detroit in 2015. Sad,sad, sad.

1933? The great crash is coming and all this was screwed. Thanks to Wall Street.

1933 was the bottom. The crash happened in 1929 under Hoover. Hoover was the last president to leave the US with less jobs than he started with before Trump.

Basic economics reveals why this is no more. And quite frankly, we are better without it.
