Boy, if you think this helicopter boss is annoying, don't ever play Twisted metal black. The helicopter on that game makes you reassert your life choices....
After the first death, which was humiliating, the helicopter was piece of cake but boy, Thank goodness for the check point. And the constant changing in customization is spot on, Carbot never fails to capture the feeling of a game.

I got kinda triggered with a guy yelling "Use YoUre air MoBIliTy", becaues you don`t have one, you`re slow as shit in the air, and it`s definetely not enough time to do anything. So, covers.
@@markhettenbach3141 What I do is use the assault boost (click the left stick) to charge right at it. If you're under it, it can't target you with the machine guns. And make sure you jump when it launches missiles since those are easier to dodge in the air than on the ground.
@@ragvald8835 i tried that and he whittled me down way faster than I was hurting him. But I also kept hitting the wrong button for the boost dodge, my brain kept going to triangle
@@markhettenbach3141try using your energy sword on it when it comes in close. Tap the boost dodge when he starts spraying at you , Wait for the giant red boxes then go airborne to dodge them. I died like at least 10 times tbh just trying whatever I could. tried using the buildings for cover but missiles would still hit me directly . Seems easier to strafe while airborne. Just keep an eye on your energy levels and be ready to chain your missile and charge your energy sword strike when he’s staggered . I also like the bunny hop where I’m just tapping to boosts not to waste energy. I spent too much time shooting at him. before I realized how strong that badass sword is

Man, that first real boss fight had me memorizing attack patterns and refitting my mech for over an hour. Shit gets crazy when you're fighting on all 3 movement axis

First time through that helicopter messed me up, after a couple replays it honestly gets super easy, just got dash under him, fly up, stab and stagger and then unload everything you can before it gains back its stamina

Quad legs are just tanky enough to justify the easier controls.
