- I've always dreamed of getting an old fashioned Victorian letter in the mail, so why not make it happen for my friends? Complete with tea dyed paper, diy wax seals, envelopes, stickers, botanical paintings, and pressed flowers.
Tbh I watch too many penpal and snail mail videos, which has led me here. A lot of the ones I see require supplies that I just do not have, so I decided to do a hopefully inexpensive version with things I already have.
If you send letters, I would love to hear some of the themes/things that you include in yours!

i have penpals and whenever i go to the post office to drop by the letters, there is either the lady who gets so happy when she sees my letters and always tells me they are very pretty or the other lady that gets mad because the system might not read the stamp correctly and stuff...

"How much can I fit into 1 envelope so I only have to use 1 stamp?" Story of my life when I got into penpalling and had to learn about envelope sizes and thickness and stamps and all that jazz.
As someone who penpals a lot, I can 100% tell you that letters with effort are SO much more appreciated and exciting to receive than letters with a bunch of washi tape and stickers on them to replace creativity and effort. Your letter was absolutely amazing.
Yes! You can fit a surprising amount of stuff into an envelope with one stamp! Really glad you could enjoy it, super happy to hear you liked the result. Customizing every little piece like this is actually just so much fun as well! Wish you luck in all your future letter-crafting~

I've been sending cards to my friends for some years, and they never sent me cards back 😂 some people would think that sounds rude, but I know that they don't do this for evil. This video did bring a tear to my eye. I am quiet old and I loved writing letters to my friends, I put in so much effort. Now I do it for fun sometimes, but I breaks my heart how most youngsters don't know the joy of writing a beautiful letter. I loved your video, it made me remember my old pen pal who liked making such beautiful letters. He passed away many years ago, but he will always be in my heart. Thank you for bringing back happy memories, keep doing what your doing, your friends are lucky to have a friend like you!

Ahh well your pen pal sounds like he was a wonderful friend, it's always a joy when there are people like that to write to. I think there are at least a decent group of young people that enjoy writing letters and sending mail- as long as there are some out there who enjoy it, that is something to be happy about. I love writing letters. It’s calming and creative. You can do so much . Talk about your day, write a poem, write down you deepest thoughts. I always write my friends and family letters for their birthday or for a different holiday. Sadly none of my friends share this interest or passion with me

I randomly got this in my recommendations and I’m so glad I did, you’re literally the friend everyone dreams of. They’re so lucky to have you and they must be great if you did so much for them. I would much rather prefer something like this in which someone put their time, effort, and love into than something materialistic that they didn’t put any effort into.

Hahaha maybe in theory, but I can definitely struggle with consistency so idk if I would be a great penpal. Unless you're looking for one really elaborate letter every 6-8 months lol. Super glad you enjoyed the video though, I appreciate it so much~
Yeahhhh, it can be really difficult if you want to do something elaborate. The only people I send mail to are my friends, so we're not actual penpals lol. Takes a lot of the pressure off when you're just sending stuff randomly rather than waiting for a reply!

Number one requirement : HAVE ARTISTIC TALENT 😭
I promise the only thing you need to be able to write a good letter is something you sincerely want to say to someone else! All of the drawing and stuff is great, but it's also not necessary- the letter is the most important part. Collaging from magazines/newspapers is also another really great way to decorate letters inexpensively without drawing if you want to dress them up!
My mind had a hard time grasping that she would put more effort than what we had already seen just a few minutes into it. It just kept getting more and more unique, special, absolutely incredible.

You said what you lack in stationary, fancy sticker-stuff and all of that stuff, you make up for in effort. Well, I think what people lack in effort, they try to make up in all these stickers and bling bling.
I once received a letter with paintings, paper, little things that are so valuable because someone thought about it way more than just putting a sticker on it. I will keep this letter for ever. Because it is so special!!! I hope you will keep with this. I really am sure, people will appreciate it.
Definitely love receiving art or anything that someone puts their time into! The stickers and stationary is great too, but it's not always necessary, you can always make something great with what you have. This is so beautiful! As someone who is a sucker for Victorian themes, I've often coffee-dyed my paper and written similar letters for my closest friends handcrafting everything from envelopes to the stickers to bookmarks. I love to see the same spirit in a much refined manner from someone with artistic capabilities like you!

Okay like... risking to sound absolutely absurd and cliché I’ll say that it’s like fate put you in my recommendations, just a 12 minute video inspired me to put more effort in the small things I do cuz these past years I’ve been so unmotivated and unproductive even tho I used to be a very creative and imaginative person and I used to put so much effort in my paintings and crafts and do everything so extra like these beautiful letters you created. Now I’ve become introverted and asocial, laying around all day being useless , not managing to keep up with my studies... definitely disappointing yes. But something about you reminded me of that lost part of me and now I’m definitely more motivated to put more effort in bringing back that spark of creativity. So I thank you dearly . Your channel will grow into something amazing I believe.
Well if it is fate, I thank it very much- feel very lucky for you to have found yourself here! Being creative is absolutely not something that always comes easy and when it doesn't, it can be so incredibly demotivating and disheartening. Believe me, there are so many times when I feel that way as well- it's normal. No matter what it is you put effort into- even if it is small trivial things or not what you feel you are supposed to put it into- if it can bring you some joy or fulfillment, it's worth it. So happy to hear that this could bring even the tiniest spark of that to you- hope you chase that spark wherever it leads you in the future~
