i mean, to an extent yeah. you need flexibility in your legs to do certain spins and spirals. but you can always improve flexibility and you dont have to have good flexibility when you're first learning

I'm always curious tho, how do Maia and other female skaters stay warm during a show because often times the costumes are not designed to cover all parts of the body and they have to keep their body warm to avoid injuries
