Ninjitsu spell. It's called quick-change. (scroll down to find it) You use it, it lasts for about 5 minutes (the typical span of a boss fight) and it auto-revives you on death. You can see the icon for it on the top left. Kind of OP to be honest with you. You only need to unlock the novice training mission in the dojo and complete it, so you'll have access it to relatively early in the game too.
