Got six boxes and opened just one (hoping I can avoid opening the rest) and got $370 in value. Seems like the max you could do without hitting a serialized card.
Most of these collector boxes have been returning 50% or less of the cost of the box. The Rings are so hard to hit, even non-serialized. Still fun to watch though. 🙂

I JUST, started to open a single collectors booster and noticed the glue seems funny. It's harder to open than most other packs yet it came from an LGS. Any chance this was a repack? The corners aren't completely sealed either and I haven't opened it all the way yet.
no? unless your LGS is actually Rudy behind that Wendy's dumpster, you shouldn't have to worry about product getting re-packed. Plus the plastic used on collectors boosters is different than the plastic used on regular boosters and is more "brittle" and slightly thicker, in my experience
These collector boosters are a disappointment to me so far (bought 4); my best draw was a non-foil boderless orcish bowmaster. Deck Boosters are the way to go imo! got 2 Nasgul including a foil in one single booster

Especially if WOTC wants to get all cozy with Hollywood. Standard sets will have blue haired lesbians wearing majestic strap ons that shoot lightning bolts and will be a 6/9 flyer 0 drop
The Lotr openings kept getting better and better. My favourites, hope to see a return to the Lotr, starring Paulinor and Morgandurin. It’s obvious to me you’re playing a ramp fun deck because your witty comments just keep getting funnier and funnier and the same with the lotr pronunciation jokes
people are sick of LOTR because the value in each pack is NOT what they paid. (not your fault at all) Once the 1/1 is pulled, itll drop faster than a sack of brocolli pigs
Yeah of course all the villains in the set stayed white men, and they race swapped the heroes and made black Aragorn and Chinese Gandalf, and random black Hobbits. This set is to LOTR as The Wiz was to The Wizard of Oz.

I've also noticed the corners having a revealed appearance on store bought and eBay bought. Hoping it's just how they come.
