On vacation in Florida, this car-fanatic teen finds a surprise (his girlfriend) in a Lamborghini Aventador on his 18th birthday. Mom and Dad flew her in from NC. The amazing staff at Lamborghini Palm Beach put her in the passenger seat for him to find, then gave him a spirited 20-minute ride.
TO CLARIFY: He did not GET a Lamborghini Aventador for his birthday, nor did he even remotely THINK he would get one. (He knows better.) He was thrilled to just get to sit in one (though they did surprise him with a ride afterward), and even more thrilled when he realized he wasn't alone.

my birthday suprise car was a 1994 mitsubishi lancer gti 1.8 its very good and very fast car.
He didn't get the car, they let him drive it for a bit.

Thats just the internet in general, especially youtube, people are jealous and hate. Particularly when Lamborghini's or any nice cars for that matter are in there, people seem to chug down on that haterade.

Curious as to how 9 people have disliked this video. This 18-year-old is the sweetest kid on earth. He deserved a few moments of glory on his birthday.
For his next birthday, give him the exotic driving experience in Walt Disney World in Florida. They have 8 cars to choose from, even a Lamborghini Gallardo and Superleggra. They also have a Ferarri 458 Italia and a Ferarri 430 Scuderia. I got to drive the Ferarri 430 for my 18th birthday present from my parents. Its a blast thats also very safe. Check it out, just google disney world exotic driving experience.
Nate! I haven't seen you and your dad for so long but then I see this on Jalopnik! Holy crap! That's awesome, congrats man! That would be my best birthday ever if i could just sit in it...and drive for few minutes...i don't request more...except that i actually want to own one, any lambo would do starting from Countach, except Gallardo, i have enough of that little midget (no offense to midgets) car.
Wow. Im 18 next year. Wish i could experience the same thing too. But its really nice to see a teenager getting to rev a supercar with his GF. Could have been better if his dad was beside him. He is the one who made all this possible. :)

It doesn't matter how expensive the gift is, just matters that he shows love to his son.
But then again, this car is awesome...
I read the story and kinda find it hard to believe that a father would basically tease his son like that on his 18th birthday. Everything the father says indicates that this car is his. If all he got to do was sit in it for a few minutes and rev it, that's hardly a spectacular birthday gift or worth flying the girlfriend down to watch. I've lost faith in the internet and what to believe.
Obviously none of you listen to what he says he did not purchase his son the car he let him sit in it if he did purchase it there would be new plates on the car meaning its never been registered but in this case it's registered to someone most likely his dads friend and he let his friends son sit in it , think about it if he purchased it we would see him driving it but here he only revs it and that's it meaning he got his happy 5 minutes for his birthday. Haha still memorable
yes we do, i was in texas a few weeks ago, i went to a ferrari dealership. just getting to stand next to a 458 and getting a photo taken with it. was a amazing. my favorite car, a the Mustang. love them to death. a guy down my street has 2 Mustangs, a 89 SVO and a 07 GT turbo charged. i got off the bus one day, and he just happened to be coming down the street, so pulled over an said "i here you like Mustangs. want a ride?" that is still the best day of my life. i cant think of a better one.
Start with someone/something to see if he has what it takes, take professional classes or learn from internship (Yeah it is possible to get an internship for that), and ask around don't get lazy. It really helps if you have connections with someone at least in a car dealership or something (Friends, family)... Along with the other basic stuff I'm sure you are doing. Then just be persuasive, and really show you have dedication. It's not that easy to be a new guy but you can get there.
this is great that his first car is an aventador. lucky kid. also great that his sister was there to share it with him. it was also nice that his twin brother with a much older sounding voice filmed the whole thing. it does seem a little strange that both twins didn't get lamborghinis together, though. I guess one is the favorite child and the other, not so much.

cool parents, sweet birthday present (I know he didn't get the car, but when I was 18 my girlfriend was my world) maybe one day he will have the car, I'm sure it will inspire him to make something of himself so he can get a sweet ride like that. If you vote thumbs down, I can only assume that you live in a dark world where all the haters live.
If your dad got you a Enzo, why are you even here? A Enzo probably cost 1.6 million because only about 400 of them were made. If you were a original buyer you would have to have at least 2 Ferrari's and known the company for around 10 years and the company would hand pick you and would cost 670k.
I think this is a sweet gift im 23 and never got to even touch a lp700 just to sit in one would be an amazing gift then to top it all off his gf was there got to actually some what operate and then got a ride. well planed out birthday gift. sorry for the bad spelling.

I see Lambos and Ferrari's from time to time(at least once ever three weeks) here in Miami and I always try to get the driver to show what the car is capable of. BTW that's an amazing birthday surprise. Really cool parents for setting the whole thing up.

I love the fact that Lamborghini were nice enough to give him a ride afterwards. Hell, he might not have been able to drive it (seeing as it's waayyyy too expensive) but sitting in it and being driven would be enough for me! :)

I was just at Lamborghini Palm Beach during Spring Break! I hope he went to the Ferrari of Palm Beach dealer as well because the had anEnzo in the garage that I sat in:)
