W D Hartley V2 - We are the Hawks

A song composed, written and recorded by the 4th grade students of W. Douglas Hartley Elementary School & musicians from the Jam-ology Foundation. The song is related to Character Counts and Resiliency.
This was made possible by a grant provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, through the St. Johns Cultural Council, Florida.
The grant-funded project provides an in-school program for 4th, 5th, or 6th graders which encourages students to work together to collectively create and compose a song together in a 1-hour assembly. The activities promote collaboration, critical thinking and self-worth, benefiting students academically, socially and emotionally.
