I tried a few rubbers after taking the game up about four years ago, but once I gave the Hurricane 3 a go I knew I'd never look elsewhere (now have it on both sides). It's brilliant for 'local league' club players like myself because the power of faster rubbers can be difficult to control. You can get fantastic control and spin, but it's still fast enough at the level I play at, when you want to really put the bat through the ball. A tip if you use them and don't want to spend a fortune changing them too often - once the tack goes, add a little commercial cleaner (I use Custom's Bio-Clean) just before you play each time. The rubber instantly gets some good tack back.
ye i was thinking about using it too since i like spin and control BUT im a bit worried of the spin-sensitivity and my recieve going bad from it also im used to play with softer rubbers witha high throw to open with a good topspin on backspin balls and these hard rubbers are pretty different i guess

Those puncture repair kits were fantastic as they came in a small tin box and would fit nicely in your bat case and came with a little grate plate to help you scuff off the old glue. Never noticed any change in speed when using it on mark v or the black power rubber on my forehand. I don't know about the Hungarian guy being the first, i don't think he would have been born when we used it here in Australia lol.
I played with shriver in my youth. I missed vari spin (great allround rubber in the past) and the Andro rasanter (r37, r42, r47, r50, v47 and v50). All most every one at my club plays with one of the reasanter rubber now. It's most populair now I think.
I prefer the 38 mm ball in celluloid. I also like the 21 point game format. Why were other colors of rubber like green and gold discontinued? I took a break from table tennis and it morphed into something completely different.
Yeah, the 38mm and celluloid are sooooooo amazing to hit. They take the spin, the control, the touch, they take it all and make it so good. Speed glue...oh those were the days...I remember gluing early tensor sponges as well back in the mid 2000s... my favourite rubbers of all time (inactive for 10 years) I remember when your channel was just training videos of pro players back nearly a decade ago. Proud to see how far you've come with the channel and it's great to see how you've improved as a player as well. The TTD Team videos are really funny and enjoyable and makes me want to get back into playing league matches again. Haven't played competitively since uni, a decade ago. What I don't like to see is how expensive the rubbers and blade can be nowadays. I remember when $50 USD rubbers were considered top of the line and BFly TBS and Timo ALC/Viscaria at $100-$150 were expensive for blades...Now we have $440 Zhang Jike Super ZLC and Dignics at $105 ??? Crazy! Donic F1 glued on FH Max, F3 glued on BH on a Yasaka Dynamix 17 blade...my best and favourite setup when I was playing. Over the years used Mark V, 729, DHS H3, H3-Provincial, countless Chinese rubbers.
30 years ago the Mark V kicks ass.. Used by most players in our provincial matches. My Friendship rubber that time is almost unheard of this side of the globe
so is it a good idea to put Tenergy 05 on backhand side and Hurricane 3 on the other? For a beginner like me, on an all wood 5-ply blade, maybe Butterfly Primorac?
So I hadn't played in over 35 yrs...so I was quite shocked when I came back to table tennis, everything had changed. The balls, the rubbers, I missed a lot LOL. I started with Hurricane 3 because I wanted better technique. Having played before and now RUclips instructions, I picked up very quickly. After I had my strokes, I tried Rakza7 and was blown away. Using a Tibhar Pure Wood blade. I was so impressed, I opted for a sheet of Tynergy 05 - and OMG. I have the technique to control it, but the instant speed and spin and touch, were simply amazing. I remember saying...I will never not own this rubber ever again. LOL. It is amazing stuff.
Same here, hadn't played for over 35 years, was surprised by the choice of blades and rubbers, and was so impressed by Rakza 7 on my Nittaku Acoustic. Now playing with DHS Gold Arc 8 - similar feelings with tons of comfort and control, but better grip, more speed and spin is on another level. Yet to try Tenergy, but played with Dignics 05 on Acoustic - OMG what a rubber. Definitely on my list.
@@sashbar Small update. I bought a Primorac Carbon just for fun, and it's now my main bat - very fast. So I put Hurricane 8 on it, and MX-S on the backhand - again, both are amazing in grip, feel and control. I thought the carbon would be boardy or something, but it has a very nice feel to it. I can play soft touch shots as well. I'll have to check out the Gold Arc 8 and see what that is. H8 is a very nice rubber though...
@@cldavis33 DHS GA8 is probably the most Un-Chinese Chinese rubber)) It's a German-made tensor with elastic top sheet and many gears, catapult kicks in when you hit harder, but it's quite controlled in short game. It's pretty fast with good spin when needed. good rubber. It's like Rakza 7 on steroids, same feel/dwell, but more grip, catapult and higher throw angle.
@@sashbar Awesome info. and thank you for that. Speaking of rubber with different gears, I am really loving that quality because I am a touch player who likes to play very soft at times, and I can hit very hard when I want. This tacky tensor type rubbers seem to fill this need. T05 will FLY long when I crank on it too hard, but these tacky surface rubbers do not.
It's a great video - BUT - - - you missed BRYCE! I think Butterfly Bryce in the speed glue era was more popular than MX-P now, it was on par with Hurricane and Tenergy for attacking players.
Hey guys, good list! While I disagree with the last personally, I can definitely relate to it in a popularity sense. Here's my list and reasons! 1 - Hurricane 3 2 - rasanter R42 3 - hexer 4 - tenergy 05 5 - sriver fx As you can see my list consists of only 1 rubber from each series (including rasanter/rasant, too similar) here are my reasons. 1. Hurrricane - hurricane is perfect for all levels on the forehand. As a beginner with a light blade, it's tacky so the players learn to generate spin, while also learning a hugh quality, aggressive technique. It is also slow meaning that the players must learn to develop their own speed as opposed to rely in the rubber. At a high level, players still can play very aggressive, controlled short play and strong serves with the tacky rubber. If you are a chopper, this rubber is perfect to forehand chop with, as well as attack or twiddle and attack backhand. Professional level, you have your illegal yet commonly used booster making the rubber a true powerhouse. On top of all of that, the rubber lasts an incredibly long time, and the sponge hardly damages. It absolutely caters to all players. 2. Rasanter r42 - debatebly the greatest rasanter rubber. This rubber is soft and fast, making it perfect for a high spin game. For average to high level players this rubber is perfect for backhand looping and counterlooping game. Still good enough to be used for forehand, however at professional level ideally r47 or r50 is better. If you feel like rasanters are too quick, drop the speed a little by bringing the sponger thickness down to 2.0 mm and the quality is still there with great control. The rubber life span is very good and doesn't damage easily. Highly recommend, especially for backhand. 3. Hexer - while this rubber is a slightly older generation rubber than rasanter, it's quality level is still unquestionable. It has very high level of spin. It has an advanced high range with different hardnesses, however the average hexer caters to backhand and forehand, being quite soft with a soft blade, and medium hard with a hard blade. It is beautifully controlled on the backhand, and still has a nice arc and grip on the forehand. The speed ia perfect for intermediate players transitioning from a beginner level. This rubber also lasts a long time, so it doesn't need to be replaced a great amount in the transition stage. The rubber itself does chip a little easily. Overall just a great rubber for all levels. 4. tenergy 05 - While I know a lot of people will disagree, this rubber has a lot of reasons for being this low on my list. The speed of this rubber is definitely extremely fast, debatably the fastest high quality rubber aside from t64, and also very spinny, however... compared to other elite level rubbers, it's control is much lower. A simple push drags far longer over the table and serving short with heavy spin is extremely difficult too, making this rubber strictly elite level use. The rubber is also so fast and spinny, that it fools players into believing that they are playing high quality shots while their technique may be atrocious and damaging to their long term development. The quality is very high, however the lifespan is extremely short, not lasting more than 5 or 6 weeks before the sponge turns into a marshmallow degree of softness as well as losing it's grip. The rubber and sponge also chip extremely easily. Overall an absolutely amazing rubber if you are an elite level player with some sort of sponsorship, however does not have the flexibility to cater to all levels. 5. Sriver fx - in modern times the have redeveloped this rubber into its g2 and g3 series, however the quality isn't far off the originals. The original 3 well known sriver series - sriver, sriver fx and sriver el truly revolutionized rubber qiality so it's place on this list is guarenteed. The sriver fx was a bit softer than original sriver helping it grip the ball for a more loopy style, and generated more spin. These rubbers were also designed in the days of speed glue so if the rubber wasn't fast enough, a couple layers of speed glue would fix that right up! Amazingly, 50 years after its release it is still used as a beginner rubber! While it lacks in grip and spin generation, it still grips enough for a first rubber before transitioning to a high quality beginner rubber, or an intermediate rubber. What do you guys think of my list? I hope this helps some players out there! Dan, awesome list, hopefully you think my list is pretty good too!
@@irtiza4262 this is just my opinion. It's not the most important opinion but it also gives others a good guide on rubbers to use. Mark v and sriver shouldn't be on this list if it's a list of modern rubbers because it is not used by many players anymore. If you don't like my opinion you don't have to, but no doubt you'll be another person blindly following videos without having knowledge of what is out there. I run a whole academy where I'm from and have knowledge of different brands equiptment and because of that I have great equiptment suggestions for all level players so while my opinion might not be the most important one, it has helped many players in their career. What knowledge do you have?
JOOLA SAMBA->The number one rubber for klick fans in the 90ties and 00years. Not that you could play serious table tennis with it, but the sound was majestic :-) Should definetly be in the list!!!
Used to like Friendship 729. Tacky with plenty of control. Used to love playing people with Stiga Mark V as too powerful for them to handle when they got some of their own spin back on service returns.
I love Tenergy 05 but not its price. So how to you think Donic Bluefire M1 and Donic Bluefire M2 compare to Tenergy 05 in terms of SPEED, SPIN and CONTROL and which of them lasts the longest?
Can somebody explain why Buttefly Sriver use old logo while Tenergy uses the new simple Butterfly logo. I have lots of teenage memories coupled with the old Butterfly logo but it seems impossible to buy any butterfly rubber with old logo in Sweden. is that different in UK?
Good selection of rubbers here. I have used Sriver and Mark V in the 1980's, I still play Sriver L on the backhand. Good quality rubber with decent control and speed. I tried Tenergy 05 last year, but decided to stick with Juic Driva Smash on the forehand, as I have been doing for the last 25 years. That rubber is just ridiculously expensive, and people are telling me that Butterfly probably has manufacturing issues as the quality (regarding durability) seems to be decreasing. Don't know if that's true.
I am using Michael Maze ALC (OFF) with rakza X on backhand and hurricane 3 neo on forehand (not boosted). It's a good combination. Better than my previous Aurus+Sonex. Although personally I feel rakza still lags behind tibhar. But you need to adjust your technique accordingly. What blade are you using?
@@varungoel185 Mark V is old. Get a pair of Aurus if you feel like. You'll immediately see the changes for yourself. I've tried many combinations while I was professionally playing back untill 2012. Since then I just practice sometimes, so brought this combination to try.
The h3 neo gets its speed from the blade and your power, it can be slow when you need it and fast when you want it, with a carbon blade, it can be faster than t05, i have them on my viscaria, but the h3 really needs lots of power and excellent technique that it forces you to develop, thats why i love it, it also has all the spin of the world and amazing control. Edit: i have the t05 fx and the 05, i use the fx on my backhand
You only said that because you haven't tried boosting Hurricane 3. Once you do, it doesn't need that much power anymore and the spin is crazy. It will even reward lazy technique somewhat. Faster that t05? Even boosted it is not faster than tenergy much less unboosted.
I dont like boosting, also yeah, not as fast if you don't put power, it is slower with more power though... compare ma long's topspin or fan zhendong's with timo boll's or ovcharov's
@@john.s1962Nope. Ma long or fan zhendong do not use the DHS N3 you are taking about. They use a heavily boosted version exclusively produced for the CNT and not available in the market. Tenergy 05 is hands down much faster than the regularly available H3.
Started playing with sriver in 1986 and ended playing in 1993 also with sriver, haven't played ever since. Thinking to start again as recreational plyer of course. Have no clue which blade, rubbers and glue to buy in this modern days.
Hey If I use sriver on an offensive blade will it be good for competition (I'm entering competition and am looking for a fast rubber) or should I go for butterfly roundell
Hello. Could you advise the Allround blade rubbers ? For example, I consider: Donic Appelgren Allplay, Yasaka Sweden Classic, Stiga Allround Classic etc. I am a self-taught amateur and have made a lot of progress as a recreational player. I had three rackets folded by myself. 1. Donic Waldner Exclusive AR +, Donnic Akkadi Taichi fh and bh 2. Donic Persson Seven, Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft bh, Rakza 7 fh 3. Donic Waldner Exclusive AR +, Donic Bluefire JP 03 bh, Bluestorm Z3 fh Something must have been wrong because the balls were flying behind the table or stopped on the net. Of course, I am aware of technical shortcomings. Overall, I would describe myself as an Allround with an ambition to play offensive. I am looking for a suitable board and cladding for the first years of basic training. I heard that the best allround blades are 100% wood and soft rubber to start with. I am asking for help and Best Regards.
Old school indeed. I remember seeing that rubber in a store back in 2005, I was amazed when I saw that it was worth $7 only. Would be almost a pain to play that rubber without speed glue.
Mine was Mark V and Super Sriver. But i used to change it at home for Sriver or spinnier rubbers. Oddly i would disagree with the scores table tennis brochures would give for rubbers. Not every double happiness ws the same
Hey dan I got a question! So im a beginner player and these rubbers are really good but they are so expensive for me so please I found a good price one and his name is Forfar table tennis rubber. Is it good? Is it good for beginners like me? Thank you!
Hello I need suggestion about setup...I am considering Tenergy 05 and/or its kind, but I am confused about the good combination, what blade is good for it, what backhand rubber that suits it...thanks!
I use to play with tenergy, but whitin 6 months my rubber would be replacrd. I am only play 1 in a week and no competition. Now i play with Xiom musa and Xiom vega. As a child i played with MarkV and Do from Yasaka. We still use the speedglue 👍👍
@@guywhodoesstuff1798 How many layers did you put on? What kind of booster do you use? How many times do you change your rubber a day? Depending on your answers, you may be talking nonsense.
The Butterfly Tenergy 05 is the top overall rubber, as it maximises Speed and Spin for Offensive players and masters the final shots in many competitions.
I use Tenergy 05, which is an arm and a leg, but cheaper than trying lots of other rubbers for a couple of weeks in the hunt for something close. Can I have some advice on gluing though, I used to roll it on, and that stretched it. Now I lay it on - is either way better (laying it on means you can take it off to reuse it more easily on spare bats as it will still fit - stretching tends to shrink back after cutting)?
The butterfly tenergy cost much but lasts well. A friend of mine has been using a piece of tenergy 05..for 4 years. There has been slight perf drop off..but amazing it's still viable.
guys I'm intermediate in the game not bad and not soo good like pro players and I was wondering is DHS hurrican 3 on both sides will be good for infinity vps v blade or not ? Fan Zhendong uses just one side but I don't have enough money to buy tenergy 05
Actually, DHS N3 is a really good beginner rubber because it is not that fast and gives a lot of feeling because it is so hard and tacky. MXP is something different though, you really need a good technique to get the most out of that rubber and get consistent.
@@Hesselaer I checked some rubbers with my trainer and now i'm playing ,, Evolution mx-p (2.0mm)" on my forehand and ,,Xiom Vega x (2.0mm)" on my backhand. Because i'm not a beginner anymore, i think... I hope...
I get the Thibar EVO MXP, but I am not sure if it matches the same quantity of players for a really long time playing with Bryce ...Bryce Speed etc. Bryce was the equivalent of Tenergy back in the days and it stayed popular for a a very long time. Tenergy will be hard to beat for a time to come, it's revolutionary balance makes it the best ever, and mentally, a top player will not think twice about using/trying it for sure. Especially because they are sponsored (it's a no-brainer). Cool video though ! PS (yes the Hurricane needed the bat to stick to the ball... more contact 😁)
Tenergy 05 from Butterfly is the best among all the Rubbers, that you have selected. Furthermore, the upcoming Dignics from Butterfly, will lead the future as well.
I'm looking for a backside rubber to learn topspin with no sticky adherence but good grip, good dwell Time, forgiving, durable more than 6 months if possible, not slow, not sensitive to spin and not high throw. I've Yasaka rigan it's good but i've not feeling for topspin. Perhaps something like victas v07 regular.
Mx-p is definitely the spiniest rubber i have ever used ,i have never seen my opponents service returns miss the table by such huge margins,BUT WAIT! these rubbers are dead as a door nail in about 4 weeks and have tried the latest mx-p versions from tibhar and have been extremely disappointed, these rubbers aren't cheap and if Tibhar could develop the rubber so as the spin lasts longer i believe then that this rubber would dominate the market.
I started with sriver after Donic slick and twin slick then moved to stiga, coppa silver, tenergy and back to coppa x2 1.8 in forehand forehand and coppa x3 backhand 2.0
@@yagoaguero88 They all have the same top sheet, 3-50 has a 50 degrees (DHS) hardness sponge, Neo the sponge is factory boosted for more speed. All are tacky.
So i bought a rubber (TSP triple speed offensive sponge) 15 years ago that i never used. it's still brand new in the packaging. Do they deteriorate over time or could i still use it?
Sir ur videos very helpful for me Sir i play play tt regularly from 6 months I want to buy my first custom made racket I choose stiga all round classic blade With mark 5 with both sides. It is good combination for me plz suggest me
I only agree on Tenergy and Sriver in your top 5? What about Barna, Magic Carbon and Friendship rubbers? Hi Super Drive was also extremely popular in the eighties - but you might be too young to know this :-)
Hmm, while I disagree with sriver and mark v, they did revolutionize equiptment and managed to still hold popular until I even started playing in tbe 2000's. That's 35 years of use! Can't argue with that. I could be wrong, but personally I believe that the rubbers you just mentioned never made it to the absolute top most used rubbers, still good rubbers, but just average rubbers in the grand scheme of things. Stiga had innova series, neos series, butterfly had bryce's, catapult, cermit, joola had it's tango series, and all of these were higher quality and more popular than the rubbers you mentioned. Aside from magic carbon being more modern, which is just like a beginner rubber for controlled slapping players.
I started playing table tennis over 60 years ago and have played with Mark5, Shriver and MXP. I play with MXP now but I refuse to pay the ridiculous price of any Butterfly products these days.
I think the list is good, but Butterfly Bryce cannot be left out of any top 5 as it changed table tennis in a way similar to how Tenergy changed it... it is a historical milestone in table tennis. Sriver /Mark V (interchangeable), Bryce FX, Tenergy 05, Hurricane 3, MX-P
shriver is harder than mark v which is noticeably softer and spinier than the shriver. Shriver was a great rubber back in the day for punching and fast counter hitting off the backhand and would still be a great rubber for today for in close work off the backhand only. No one used shriver for forehand looping as the softer mark v killed it in this area.

I’m still playing a Mark V.
It's a great video - BUT - - - you missed BRYCE! I think Butterfly Bryce in the speed glue era was more popular than MX-P now, it was on par with Hurricane and Tenergy for attacking players.
I don't play anymore (old and ill) but the Sriver was good enough on both sides to win a couple of regional titles back in the days :-)
Hey guys, good list! While I disagree with the last personally, I can definitely relate to it in a popularity sense. Here's my list and reasons!
1 - Hurricane 3
2 - rasanter R42
3 - hexer
4 - tenergy 05
5 - sriver fx
As you can see my list consists of only 1 rubber from each series (including rasanter/rasant, too similar) here are my reasons.
@@irtiza4262 and yet mxp is somehow above sriver and mark v...
@@irtiza4262 it's cool, I've played for 20 years and coached for 6 years, don't need to research equiptment popularity
so poor.... juz 12 like and u hv written a long 'essay' and i think that u are taliking the best rubber lol
@@2EAVENGERS I'd reply to you but after reading your comment 5 - 10 times over, I still don't have a clue what you're talking about.
That's a beautiful stack of rubbers.
I use DHS hurricane for BH and tibhar mx-p for FH , suits my style of play , a perfect combo .✌🏻
What blade did u use
JOOLA SAMBA->The number one rubber for klick fans in the 90ties and 00years. Not that you could play serious table tennis with it, but the sound was majestic :-)
Should definetly be in the list!!!
Used to like Friendship 729. Tacky with plenty of control. Used to love playing people with Stiga Mark V as too powerful for them to handle when they got some of their own spin back on service returns.
I love Tenergy 05 but not its price. So how to you think
Donic Bluefire M1 and Donic Bluefire M2 compare to
Tenergy 05 in terms of SPEED, SPIN and CONTROL and
which of them lasts the longest?
Can somebody explain why Buttefly Sriver use old logo while Tenergy uses the new simple Butterfly logo. I have lots of teenage memories coupled with the old Butterfly logo but it seems impossible to buy any butterfly rubber with old logo in Sweden. is that different in UK?
I'm intermediate guy, heavy on backhand might buy Stiga Infinity V balde. What rubber should I get? Thinking of Mark V
Hey Dan, why did you never switch from your timo boll alc? In some of your reviews you sound really positive about other frames
Time for some Yasaka Rakza series reviews I think!
Thank you for good and quality clip. Love this video very much.♥️♥️
Your very own opinion will never be wrong... yours pretty much matches mine as well. Thx for supporting my own opinion bro.
Please make a proper review of DHS Hurricane 3 neo. It'll be really helpful for me to decide.
There are none proper review for this rubber.
Did you end up buying it? I'm considering buying it!
@@varungoel185 yes. I bought it at February 2020.
@@swandesarmah9621 How's it going? How does it compare with Yasaka Mark V (which is what I'm currently using) and which blade did you combine it with?
Edit: i have the t05 fx and the 05, i use the fx on my backhand
john sbrinis just bought Hurricane 3 Provincial Orange Sponge waiting to try .. might be slower than H3N .. but works for all round I guess
@@qomarqomarudin7307 provinsional is very fast with lower arc
Hey If I use sriver on an offensive blade will it be good for competition (I'm entering competition and am looking for a fast rubber) or should I go for butterfly roundell
using tenergy-05 fx and the timo boll w7 blade. IM thinking to chang to timo boll alc, since i actually wanted the alc but it was out of stock sadge
1. Donic Waldner Exclusive AR +, Donnic Akkadi Taichi fh and bh
2. Donic Persson Seven, Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft bh, Rakza 7 fh
3. Donic Waldner Exclusive AR +, Donic Bluefire JP 03 bh, Bluestorm Z3 fh
Something must have been wrong because the balls were flying behind the table or stopped on the net.
Bluestorm Z3 will probably suit you.
I thought there would be a spot for the *Friendship 729* in your ranking....old school people will know what I mean
It's just not that good compared to dhs equiptment
Fond memories
729 Super Fx is my favorit rubber...
Old school indeed. I remember seeing that rubber in a store back in 2005, I was amazed when I saw that it was worth $7 only. Would be almost a pain to play that rubber without speed glue.
One of the powerful backhand rubber in those times
Super Sriver was a lot underrated in the 70‘s. I changed from a Mark V to the Super Sriver on a Hinoki Wood and it worked fantastic for my style…. 😉
Mine was Mark V and Super Sriver. But i used to change it at home for Sriver or spinnier rubbers. Oddly i would disagree with the scores table tennis brochures would give for rubbers. Not every double happiness ws the same
What would you prefer? Yasaka ma lin extra Off or imperial 9 tri Carbon of? Thanks in advance!!!
Very high quality video 🔥
Can we play the H3 Neo without booster ? I'm really not a very good player
For Hurricane 3,Ma Long used it on both his forehand and backhands.
Some Chinese players also played it on both forehand and backhand
Dan, could you review Victas products pls ? We want to know more about their products. Tks
I can’t speak of previous eras, but today there is no question that it’s Tenergy on 1 and Hurricane on 2.
Hey dan I got a question! So im a beginner player and these rubbers are really good but they are so expensive for me so please I found a good price one and his name is Forfar table tennis rubber. Is it good? Is it good for beginners like me? Thank you!
Hey Dan best paddle or Rubber Forehand and Backhand Please Make The video
Hello I need suggestion about setup...I am considering Tenergy 05 and/or its kind, but I am confused about the good combination, what blade is good for it, what backhand rubber that suits it...thanks!
I use to play with tenergy, but whitin 6 months my rubber would be replacrd. I am only play 1 in a week and no competition. Now i play with Xiom musa and Xiom vega. As a child i played with MarkV and Do from Yasaka. We still use the speedglue 👍👍
5:24, look at the edge of Ma Long's rubber, it's curling and the surface of the rubber looked like that due to heavy boosting, IMHO
Of course it is boosted...
Dont they inspect the bats to catch that?
@@d0ssier they do, but the tool can't detect it.
I've boosted the shit out of my rubber and don't get that. You're telling me I do a cleaner job than Ma Long? tsk
@@guywhodoesstuff1798 How many layers did you put on? What kind of booster do you use? How many times do you change your rubber a day? Depending on your answers, you may be talking nonsense.
Mark v has been out since 1967? wow thats a long time!
For how long does the Tenergy05 last, 4 months, 12 months, 24 months? Asking from a club's player's point's of view's.
The Butterfly Tenergy 05 is the top overall rubber, as it maximises Speed and Spin for Offensive players and masters the final shots in many competitions.
Did you ever tryied DHS Hurricane 3 National?
Stefan Mihai I have tried it and it's totally another one
Nice information! Wish I could hear your opinion about Gambler rubbers.
I am an intermediate player and i am looking for a offensive blade and speed rubber, so could you please suggest me one.
guys I'm intermediate in the game not bad and not soo good like pro players and I was wondering is DHS hurrican 3 on both sides will be good for infinity vps v blade or not ?
Fan Zhendong uses just one side but I don't have enough money to buy tenergy 05
How long do you have to play to be able to use ,,Evolution mx-p" (forehand) and
,,Hurricane 3Neo"(backhand)?
Actually, DHS N3 is a really good beginner rubber because it is not that fast and gives a lot of feeling because it is so hard and tacky. MXP is something different though, you really need a good technique to get the most out of that rubber and get consistent.
@@Hesselaer I checked some rubbers with my trainer and now i'm playing ,, Evolution mx-p (2.0mm)" on my forehand and ,,Xiom Vega x (2.0mm)" on my backhand.
Because i'm not a beginner anymore, i think... I hope...
Really great analysis
I saw that Palio rubber get chucked off the desk ahhh lol. Such a good budget rubber for intermediate players
PS (yes the Hurricane needed the bat to stick to the ball... more contact 😁)
why is there a $24 and $80 blue sponge version of DHS Hurricane 3 rubber on Amazon? What's the difference?
One of them is real and another one is not
The $24 is the commercial version. The $80 one with blue sponge is the national version, the one that is used by players on the Chinese team.
Tenergy 05 from Butterfly is the best among all the Rubbers, that you have selected. Furthermore, the upcoming Dignics from Butterfly, will lead the future as well.
Please make a review of stiga carbo advance 6 star
Is worth buy dhs hurricane neo 3
I'm looking for a backside rubber to learn topspin with no sticky adherence but good grip, good dwell Time, forgiving, durable more than 6 months if possible, not slow, not sensitive to spin and not high throw. I've Yasaka rigan it's good but i've not feeling for topspin. Perhaps something like victas v07 regular.
Could you test the nittaku fastarc serise of rubbers at some point. I hear they are popular in Asia and I'd love to know what you think of them
Mx-p is definitely the spiniest rubber i have ever used ,i have never seen my opponents service returns miss the table by such huge margins,BUT WAIT! these rubbers are dead as a door nail in about 4 weeks and have tried the latest mx-p versions from tibhar and have been extremely disappointed, these rubbers aren't cheap and if Tibhar could develop the rubber so as the spin lasts longer i believe then that this rubber would dominate the market.
So how much faster and spinnier would Mark V or Shriver be if the manufacturer simply added a more tensor sponge?????
Were the dignics already released in nov 2019 or did they come later?
I started with sriver after Donic slick and twin slick then moved to stiga, coppa silver, tenergy and back to coppa x2 1.8 in forehand forehand and coppa x3 backhand 2.0

Hello Dan! In my opinion that's a great youtube chanel! I just subscribed to it. Keep making such interesting videos.
I started playing table tennis over 60 years ago and have played with Mark5, Shriver and MXP. I play with MXP now but I refuse to pay the ridiculous price of any Butterfly products these days.
Do you have an updated version of this by any chance? Has it changed?
Bro i need this.. But live in Bangladesh.
How can i buy this product.?
And how many peice this product..??
How is T05 tensioned? What keeps it in tension? What does tension have to do with the speed or spin of the rubber? Show me an equation.
Please update about top 5 blades..✌🏼
I play g888 on both sides on my stiga alser blade, I bought the blade as a mk v. In 1975 it's the all round one.
I wonder where you would put the Dignics 09C in that line.
For practical purposes I consider Mark V and Sriver to be the same thing. Maybe switch Sriver with the most popular pips out rubber.
shriver is harder than mark v which is noticeably softer and spinier than the shriver. Shriver was a great rubber back in the day for punching and fast counter hitting off the backhand and would still be a great rubber for today for in close work off the backhand only. No one used shriver for forehand looping as the softer mark v killed it in this area.
wicked video , all info i wanted
