Awesome series of videos! I'm going to save this to reference when I reseal my half-moon seals in a couple of weeks

They don’t get much love, but I’m glad sometimes they do!

Really appreciate the detail on this series of videos. Swapping the oil pan this weekend and this has been shper helpful! From torque specs, to torque sequences and best practices, you covered it all. Seriously, thank you!

Your a godsent, never have I seen a video so detailed in a how to with these type of projects. This will help me immensely in my NB2 1.8L that I'm having to fix an oil pan leak on. Rock on man!

Omg I love you for making these videos! My nb miata has the same seal problems and I had to remove the subframe to get to mine but your videos really helped me figure out my car

Glad to hear they helped you! I still have more footage to upload of all the work I did, however it seems like they are not very popular so they have fallen on my priorities list

Just watched the video, god work mate 👍
Believe it not not, I have the exact same job ahead of me, so just curious here - you put the gasket on both sides of the rubber ones?
I see from factory that they only have gasket on the side facing the oil pan, have you experienced any leaks from putting it on both sides? 🙏🙏

The plate that houses the front crank seal. I guess it covers the oil pump. Did you take that off as well? My gasket kit came with the gasket for that plate but haven’t seen anything saying anyone has taken that plate off. I’ll be doing my oil pan this week. I already did all the other gaskets including VVT seals. Thanks

I did not remove that, I have some other videos up on my channel of this as well. Have not watched them on a while to remember which one I talked about the front crank seal though
