I'm subscribing now. I have been studying the industry for the past month and have consulted a few owners. The failed ones will tell you the important stuff you don't wanna hear. The successful ones won't tell you much but brag. So thank you David for your honesty.

Basically the successful ones who you’ve encountered want you to learn the hard way or to close you off from information so that it’s less competition for them while maintaining access to top profit. Smfh if that’s the case.

Wow! This video is on point! Goes perfectly with a comment I made on another video of yours... people think it's so simple because so many people advertising quick money.. work from home.. become a dispatcher or broker. More people need to speak the truth. Doesn't mean people shouldn't get into the industry, but definitely don't think its simple... and educate yourself! Love your videos!

I am only interested in this because, God tells me my Dad needs help to make his dream of starting a trucking company come true, or it won't be the best outcome. He is very busy driving and trying to save up for his truck, and don't have the patience, time or even the knowledge to sit down. He is VERY HARDWORKING and I will NEVER knock that. I just think he's trying to find the easy way out, and if I can help him, while I work on my profession ( film ), I think I have done a good deed. Bankruptcy sounds scary, and I don't want that for him. ( Even though he'll make it back up eventually cause he works hard )

I’ve watched almost all of your videos, I do have one concern when it comes to trucking business. Is there a way for me to make sure my drivers are not taking advantage of getting paid by the mile? Let’s say for example, they take longer routes to get more mileage. I was thinking maybe having a better way to pay to stray away from that, but it is a little complicated.
