If you are experiencing odor so quickly, try pretreating the pits of your clothing, bras, and tanks with an enzyme cleaner prior to hampering. You can also extend the application area further around the pit to see if that doesn't do the trick. Fingertip application is the most effective way to apply. 🧡ruclips.net/video/IRLso1osGnI/видео.html

Lume is amazing! Schmidt’s didn’t work well for me in any variety. It doesn’t seem to actually control the bacteria. I was breaking out a lot! The Schmidt’s doesn’t work if it only takes two hours to smell. I smell tons of funky arms passing me at Whole Foods and they have Schmidt’s in their carts.

The Lume worked for me just fine. It's all about body chemisty.

    • @EleanorJosefina
      @EleanorJosefina  4 года назад +1

Yeah I definitely agree!! It just didn’t work for me daily. But I found out later that if I use it every couple of days and use another deodorant the other days works best for me.

I wish it would have worked for me!! Just like Eleanor after a few hours (I smelled BAD) and I work under air conditioner lol so it was pretty bad!

Lume may have possibly changed something to help the sweating. I say this bc I have been using Lume for 2 months now & I do not have an issue with sweat. It keeps me incredibly dry and I can’t believe how long it lasts!
No deodorant has ever worked the way Lume does for me! Personally, I have not smelled any odor from my body whatsoever since I’ve been using it 🥰 You might not be applying enough in your initial application since you’ve mentioned that you feel like you need to reapply.

Yeah that totally makes sense. I also think I need to do an under arm cleanse with Apple vinegar. Then I want to try Lume again.

Eleanor Josefina I hope it works for you the next try around! I do want to also add, I’ve only been using Lume exclusively since it came in the mail, which may also be a factor in it? I wanted to make sure it worked bc I was extremely skeptical at first lol best of luck xoxo

Good review. I am looking to make the switch to stop using aluminum products, and found it helpful.

Aw man I wish I would have watched this video before I ordered Crisp Juniper scent. I just ordered Lumē because after trying a million and one deodorants, I can't find one that works for me. I used Schmidt's for about 2 years because it was the only one that worked to eliminate oder but it would dry out my underarms and make them SUPER itchy.
Eventually I scratched so much in the span of like 3 days that I developed huge cysts on my armpits and were the worst pain I've ever endured. I ended up having to take antibiotics for 2 weeks. 🥵

Oh my goodness!!! That sounds terrible! I hope you find something that works. I've been using the Native deodorant (sensitive formula) for a while now and that's been also working for me.

@@EleanorJosefina I haven't tried Schmidts sensitive formula but if Lumē doesn't work, I definitely want to try Schmidts again!

Ouch! That definitely sounds like you too may have a sensitivity to baking soda.
Hopefully the Lume is your perfect fit - I’d love to hear how it’s working for you! - but if/ when you do try others you might want to stick to those w/ out baking soda.
Having used quite a few - w/ & w/out baking soda - one of my top faves is Meow Meow Tweet’s Sensitive/ Baking Soda free. At $13-14/ jar it’s not inexpensive but aside from that I’m a big fan.

@@Mel-pb5xw hi! So far I've been using Lume and it's been working like a charm. I've been using it for about 2 weeks or so and its been perfect. No irritation or over dryness. I bought the Juniper scent and it's horrible lol it smells like the inside of a bellybutton! But the scent goes away after like an hour or so, so I'm fine with it. I'll definitely get a different scent next time.

rem skata yay! Bummer on the scent but so glad it’s working well for you (& that the scent is short lived enough that you’re able to push through it!)
I just ordered samples of Little Seed Farm, which I’ve heard really good things about & which I SO appreciate being able to try for at least a few days for just $3. If that’s not a winner for me I’ll likely give Lume a try next & appreciate knowing which scent NOT to get! I just saw they have a new Vanilla so will likely go w/ that. Hope it continues to work fabulously for you & that next time around you end up w/ a more enjoyable fragrance!

All deodorants have that smell. Especially dove. But you should detox yourself like using Apple cider vinegar with bento night clay, before putting on the Lume. I watched in another video.

Eleanor Josefina also try putting it on your other body eras besides your arm pits, where you might sweat at. I believe that will work I believe a lot people forget that the under arms aren’t the only places on your body you might need deodorant for. Like chess and the but and the feet arms. Yea just putting it out there.
