Great vid Ollie, sorry I couldn’t join you for this session. With this jump for me it is all about the jump before it. Get that right and this is a fantastic jump 👌🏻
Hi! this is the first time I watch one of your videos, but I liked it. It seems like we are about the same level of skill and, if you don't mind, I will point out something that I see in your riding that is similar to mine and it is NOT the correct form: Notice on min 3:53 and then again at 4:15 how your butt/hips are way back. Again, I think the reason you almost went OTB was because you did not straighten your body as much as you had been doing before - hips back again. For whatever it is worth. Cheers
Nice one well done on conquering the step up, way too big for me. I know that feeing al too well when it feels like its gone wrong. Rode the trails at hamsterly for the first time a couple of weeks back. Hitting jumps along k line I felt fairly confident and was hitting most of them quite well, Im not one for jumps and only jumps ive hit previously were on powerline trail at chopwell . As you say on video the features don't look very big/steep. As I hit the final jump in the section I may of got my speed or position on the bike all wrong and felt like i was going over the bars. Luckily i landed ok but was a bit shook up and calmed it right down for the rest of the trail. Just fished editing the video of the ride it will be uploaded later today.
Thanks man, pretty chuffed I had the confidence to go for it. Good work, K line has some good jumps to get started on. As you learn to jump there is always an element of trial and error and we are all bound to make mistakes and have a few near misses along the way 🤣. You are right that features don’t look anything like they do in real life. It’s so hard to get that across on camera. As long as it is entertaining for you guys I will keep trying these things. 👍🏻
Enjoyed the suspense 🤣 I’m going to be in Bodmin next month and was thinking of taking my bike. I’m not confident on the jumps, would you recommend this BP? Are there any other spots in the area worth visiting?
It’s a small and friendly bike park, but we’ll worth a visit. The blue line splits off and has a couple of easier line options if you are not keen on jumps. Every trail in this video is rollable (apart from the wooden cannon and the large step up of course).
Great video, was a pleasure to meet you down there!
Thanks man. Yeah good to meet you. We had the place to ourselves.🥳
absolutely brilliant!
Thanks Shawcat 👍🏻
Well done - that's a big jump!
Cheers dude!
On 2:32 is the jump that I really overshot at the end of the red line and totalled my bike
As savage! Yeah that jump on the end of Scary Scarlett is not a big as it looks.

Yeah gutted you couldn’t join dude. I could have done with someone to tow me in. Next time 🥳🥳
@@bikeandbeyond Someone else to crash in front of you 🤣
Nice work coming out unscathed
A bit too close for comfort🤣
Good Man 👌 Step ups are pretty intimidating until you get over them. Great video and looks a really cool place. Shame it's a bit far for a run out
Thanks man, can’t wait to test my nerve on a few more bigger features like this.

Hi, thanks for the feedback Jeff. You make a good point. Definitely something I will look to fix in the future 👍🏻👍🏻

Awesome video. Nice work!
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Just call it a nose bonk, and you're a hero 👍
🤣🤣I would be lying if I said the thought hadn’t crossed my mind.
Enjoyed the suspense 🤣
