When you were engaged it felt like you thought you had to play a certain role. Whether that be from societal expectations, you trying to uplift your family during such a trying time or whatever the case, you can see you are so much more comfortable and confident in yourself these days.
I really love how honest you speak about what you’ve gone through. It helps anyone who had been through heartache. Love your beautiful home and your relationship with your mom. 💝

I remember when I got my heart broken and the first thought was omg I need to play your podcast on heartbreak. I kid you not it got me through one of the darkest and lowest points in my life, so thank you so so so much. I too am in such a great/better place now but I truly think listening to your podcast spearheaded my healing journey.

Your podcast sincerely helped me in a hard time. I think it’s because you were so open at that time and were so authentic in your feelings. Now, you’ve progressed which I think is so amazing! But I think the podcast is hard to listen to cause you were so vulnerable. But it is so impactful and helpful to others 💕💕💕

AMELIA, YOU HAVE NEVER LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL AND HAPPY. Also, your grandfather would probably have had superior insight and would have been happy the engagement was cancelled.
If you suffer from anxiety I personally feel grief is harder. Like I always had anxiety over the years it's went bad. I was like this Yr my aunt who I loved dearly passed away in April. I was on the phone with my gp crying asking her. When will I stop feeling depressed, panic attacks , sobbing, insomnia. Like I wanted a time frame. But it's like seasons and weather. The saying "this shall too past" is true . Now with my grief some days I still sob when I remember her. Other days I laugh/smile thinking of her. Sending you positive energy and prayers xx

I am a womens pelvic health coach and listening to you talking about holding in your stomach made me anxious because it puts soooo much internal pressure on your pelvic floor and really really increases your risk of incontinence and prolapse etc. Amelia you are so beautiful inside and out, you really do not need to worry about what you look like or about holding in your stomach.. just breathe and be your natural self! p.s. love your mum
Amen. I was an OB/GYN nurse for over 30 years. Between holding my abs and 3 traumatic deliveries in 4 years I am still suffering after 40 years. With retention , surgery, the evil “mesh” etc with no end in site. Please ladies just be yourselves. Yes, good posture helps but relax, be real. ❤️

I haven’t watched any of your videos in years but used to watch all your videos, and you came up on my home page yesterday so I’ve been catching up on everything. When I last watched you, you were really in the thick of the break up. It’s a breath of fresh air to see you now. This really is the most glowy, happy, comfortable I’ve ever seen you.
When i saw your “getting engaged” video things were not good for me. My heart was shuttered in pieces. I saw your video with a smile and hope for the things will get better for me too. I was happy to be able to be happy for you (and a bit jealous). Now, three years later, I’m happily married. I met my now husband just three months later.

I’ve been watching a lot of your fashion shorts, and the recent one made me wonder about your engagement (breakup rather) and your moral of the story message at the end of this video, as you teared, made me tear. Steve Job once shared, the dots, they connect backwards. Often times in life we don’t understand what we go through and why we have to go through. But something I’ve personally learnt is that, many times what we go through and the lessons we learn through painful experiences are not meant for us, but those that come behind us. Your painful engagement breakup might not make sense, but you’ve made an impact by bringing comfort to tens of thousands of girls who, like you, were trying to make sense of their breakup. And that’s beautiful. You’re beautiful, Amelia. And I pray that God will send you a man who’s wise to see this beautiful heart you have. 🙏🏻❤

Three months ago my fiancé and I ended our relationship. Now I’m about to be going back to university to get my master’s degree, which is something I could have never done with our plans to start a family. Things won’t always turn out the way you planned, but they will always turn out the way they’re supposed to. 🤍

I haven't watched one of your videos in a bit (things have been hectic but I'm excited to look back on your house renos soon!) I clicked on this video and everything you said at the end is such a comfort to me. Three days ago I ended it with a person that I loved so much but we never were official because he didn't want to comit/do long distance, etc. It's been really tough because I just feel icky all the time. But every day I feel or see something that helps give me hope and sooths me. This video is today's. I am definitely at a rock bottom but little things like hearing you talk about everything has been so comforting and the serindibaty of me clicking on this when I feel so low makes me feel like something out there is telling me I'll be okay. I agree and if you were in an unhappy situation you may have mourned the loss of the relationship while you were already in it. There is no set timeline anyone should follow to recover from a breakup.

Hi, well, I've been there like almost all of us I guess. Family and friends put way to much pressure on people, like we HAVE to find someone ! They want us to get maried, but do they want us to be happy ?! Finding the very right partner can take an entire life, and fate won't automatically make it happen between the age of 20 to 35! Rushing things is useless, and everything thing happens or doesn't happen for a reason. Break ups hurt, but they are also necessary to grow and learn. You are a lot more mature and wise now, you know who you are and what you want or don't want, and this is extremely important. Being into a relationship is not always the answer, or the key to happiness. The most important relationship in our lives is the one we're having with ourselves. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A year ago I've divorced my husband of almost 4 years.. Looking back - thinks were never good, it should have been a relationship for some time, but never a marriage. Thinking about it - I've had my doubts, I've had something like a shame planning it, I cannot explain, but I didn't tell some of my friends about it and it felt weird.. I even remember my moms question "re u sure u wanna do it?" and I felt I would be more ashamed to cancel it.. oh what a stupid young mind.. It ended with my psychosomatic symptoms where I had an itch on my torso and didn't know where it came from (and I'm a derm!) It magically stopped after the decision to divorce.. That doesn't mean it was easy to divorce - that was the hardest thing I have ever done. Period. But when You said 3 weeks and 3 months - I started counting - YES! 3 months (after the decision, not the signing of papers) was the time when I felt alive again and that everything IS gonna be ok.
A year later - I'm in a beautiful relationship AND marriage (yes, marriage :) ), where I feel so loved and so appreciated how I've never felt before. I been on dates (it's crazy world out there.. ), but when I met him - I've never been so sure in my life, there was no doubt about anything and we exchanged rings 3 months after our first date. Couse now I know that it's not about time (we've been together 4 years before marriage with my ex husband). And yes - maybe it's sudden and lots of things can happen, but last year I've been through a divorce and a sisters loss, and I know now how strong I can be and I'm not gonna let go the one person in my life which immediately after I saw him walking down the stairs I got myself thinking: oh-oh, this one's gonna stay. For long. ❤
Well, if it takes half the time you were together to get over it, what does it mean for someone like me, who was in a relationship for 15 years and then he suddenly disappeared with no warning or explanation... 7 years to get over it is an awfully long time - it probably took me a year to not be a total mess and then another year of becoming "normal" again.
So for anyone who is suffering, I'm sorry you had to go through it, but it will get better, you have to believe this, even if for the moment it feels completely impossible.
Love the relationship you have with your mum 💕

Technically the new Father of the Bride remake is the second remake of the movie. The original Father of the Bride had Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor and is black & white. They also had a second movie called Fathers Little Dividend.

The original Father of the Bride from the 1950s, I believe is the best. I think Elizabeth Taylor is the daughter. Can't remember who the father is but it is hysterical. There is a sequel Father's little darling. It is in black and white.
I loved this video. Most of my life I tensed up my abs. Now at 63 I tense up my chest muscles to prevent boob bounce. I long ago gave up ab tense. I’m too far gone. 🤪❤️
