This video really makes me appreciate my course now. I didn't get in any of the MS PhD courses in the US and in the end came for masters of neuroscience in Amsterdam. All the points you spoke of, from the class size, diversity to networking all are amazing here and kind of validates my decisions. Also, bro work on your start up for sometime and trust me stanford will call ya.
This applies for people who are doing MS in US to get a job (may be SDE/Tech Support) in MNCs, but not applicable for people who are looking for research profiles in the career and is following a PhD path. Good that you figured out what you want. After all, Entrepreneurship includes the idea of being frugal. You did the right thing.
The path less travelled always leads to the most beautiful destinations in life. I can understand how hard this decision must have been for you and your family. Even after taking the decision you always ask yourself if you took the right decision. Wishing you all the success for your future goals!
apparently, before boarding the flight I quit the thought of even going because of the same set of reasons. I am an architect and the master's I chose is in urban planning. However, I was unsure about the decision and hence gave up on it. It's not easy to give up on something you have been working on for 7-8 months. However, that gut feeling of leaving home and not being prepared for the course would not let me board the flight. Although now I am highly distressed about the decision. Today's the last day to book the flight. Because classes are starting from tomorrow. And still, I'm siting at home feeling weak.
You are inspiration for those students who just study there for sake of studying, because they do not have courage to drop out thinking of society, and relatives, and ofcourse hard-earned money of parents at stake, and regret later on taht they dint wanted to become this. Requires lots of guts man, good work. I hope other students learn from this.
You have taken a huge decision bro... It takes a lot of confidence to back out from such cases and especially convincing your parents.... need a lot of courage to open up and express what you genuinely feel. I would even like to appreciate your parents for supporting your decision even at this stage. Indian parents strongly condemn such decisions taken by their kids, you are fortunate to have such parents who are not narrow minded and have respectfully accepted the decision which you have taken.
All the best. Brah. Don’t worry this is the point where we should be willing to take risks. In the end we shouldn’t regret that we why didn’t I choose to leave that particular thing to pursue our dream or passion. Hopes everything goes according to your plan and please don’t expect to everything in a pleasant way because it life and that sucks. All the best.
You did the right thing Yash. 😊Going by the book is not always the right thing to do. I also believe in following your heart (+ little bit of head) and you will never be disappointed. 😊Came across your channel just now and I'm glad I did. Wish you good luck in pursuing your dreams and hope to see you shine. ❤️If you still plan to pursue higher education, will see you soon at Stanford 😇(Stanford bola because of California factor 😉)
i love it when people take a decision, try it and have the guts to step back and stand by it knowing something better can be done. This is called exploring and ultimately evolving. I am proud of you!
Thank you a lot for being honest (: I'm preparing myself for the GRE right now (following your videos) just as an option if I dont get a good job soon. You did the right thing Yash, follow your dreams, life is too short to feel like you're wasting time. Every person has their own meaning of success, this is your meaning and I do support and admire you cuz you have the control of your life. Such a brave thing to do. Keep working hard!! Greetings from Mexico.
Hey Yash! First of all, thanks a lot for your valuable video. They have helped me alot. I have been watching a lot of motivational videos and Ted Talks and everyone says one thing, one can achieve anything, if one believes in themselve. Thats the first step. And i am really happy to see you take your first step by being confident. Moreover you are excited to work on your product. Just don't give up in between. small analogy, life is like a car on the road, we encounter speed breaks, we have to slow ourselves down, think about the solution push the accelerator. You are doing great and we are there with you! May the force be with you!
Bro I appreciate your guts and entrepreneurial passion....I have been following ur channel for a long time nd I'm sure trs no other channel which comprehensively and quite accurately guides ms applicants especially for GRE & TOEFL prep....but if that is what u wanted u could choose masters in innovation and management MOT or MEM right y cse...even I'm of the same alignment as yours I'm really interested to have my own start up nd I am planning on masters in MEM....if this is the case for the other courses as well even I night withdraw my aspirations to pursue my masters.... anyways ATB for ur future endeavours!
Never heard of anyone quitting the MS program and coming back to India, must have been a tough decision. hope you are emotionally strong. We respect this decision of yours...... Heart wants wat it wants :P :) All the best for future. hope to see you growing more n more.
I can 💯 relate to your decision bro, I have been obsessed with masters in US...but somehow I ended up starting my own startup...still my family wants me to go for masters...but what I can feel by starting a company...I don't think that feeling I will get from doing anything else...best of luck for your future
Saw your notification in the YMGrad group and jumped right here. Takes a lot of courage to decide this after putting in so much of effort to make it there with the kind of scores that you got. All the best for everything ahead 🔥
It's difficult to leave the common path and choose what you really want over what will pay you well. Kudos to your spirit and your parents who've stood by you in this decision. All the best buddy 😄
What a bold decision ! very few people have the courage and confidence to follow what they are really passionate about . I wish you all the best for all your future endeavors
Dude it takes guts to drop out like this after all the grind it takes just to get an admit And don't worry wether people on social media support u or not It's your life's decision u made it and u gotta stick by it Adb
I appreciate your decision. I can relate myself with your situation because I dropped my Ph.D. from one of the top IITs last month, but I am glad that I made that decision. Now I am exploring other things...
I just found your channel today as I am beginning my GRE journey. It is unfortunate to see you are pulling out of your program (if only because you've already spent your money). But, I completely agree about class sizes. Especially in a master's program at a top 20 university. No one should go bankrupt to sit in an auditorium style class that is effectively the same as an online class but 100x more expensive. From what I've seen of you, your work ethic and potential surely merit recognition, even at USC. I wish you the best of luck and I commend you for following your dreams. PS: After looking through the comments, I also appreciate seeing a youtuber interact with his people.
you do you brother i really appreciate your courage to take your own decision. All power to you you have been great inspiration for the whole application process i look forward to more content soon
Impressed Yash. It is very satisfying to know you are realising your potential. Not everyone is capable of taking these bold decisions. All the best. Keep working.
Wishing you good luck brother. Great day's are waiting for you. Never give up. Follow your passion and have clarity what you want to do. Wishing you again all the best.

You are bravest and the strongest person I know. You did right thing for sure and I can see you doing all the things you believe and want to do. Great man👍👍
trust me, i was amazed when this kind of video will popup on your channel. believe me or not, among 2K viewers so far, i'm the one who can even feel the emotions of your every single word. i graduated from #1 ranked university in pakistan and won the gold medal. this was my passion for studies. and between the 2 month gap of starting my masters, i launch a product quite similar to your grad one. it attracts me so well that the person who was in top of the list at everywhere ended up dropped out from master program. entrepreneurship is a word full of energy, passion, excitement and being different from crowd.
It's perfectly all right ....Take your time and get in to the game ...With all the hopes we wish you all the very best for your life..You r gonna make it man..
I hope you do well and I also recommend you do more and more self introspection which can really help you understand yourself much more. Best of Luck My Friend 👍
I have been following ur vdos for quiet some tym now and this one was ur best till date. This video will help numerous people in different predicaments of their life to think twice about what they really desire. I hope you get all the success in what you want to achieve and in case something gets off course don't repent bcoz atleast u will be involved in something which drives you everyday. Honestly, I am in dilemma in regard to whether go for MS in USA and after watching your video it clears few things out for me. Logically, I should go for it, however, I am not sure if I would be able to fit in there. Nevermind, great decision to follow what you like, atleast you are clear about it.
