The leds for programming are a nice improvement over the first version. Was surprised how slow the arp was on a 7.4. I know the G&G etu comes with active braking (or is it anti braking 🤣) as standard. Do you think the RIF isn't high enough to need it? And one final thing, those diagnostic stickers coukd go on the inside of your goggles like a HUD. Would mean you couldn't see much though which is fine if you are on the opposing team haha
Hahaha when I was editing the video I thought "why am I saying anti" ah well most have temporarily lost my vocabulary. Yeah, the 7.4 is not something I would run it with. I will check in the field if I get overspin, but no I don't think the active break is really needed with a standard setup and relatively mild lipo. Of course I may be proved wrong. If I can get away with it though I prefer not to run it. As standard the perun has active break set to max. It seems to cycle OK without it though. A hud would be cool, well maybe not with these stickers 🤣🤣.
@@rockbottomairsoft yeah I imagine the standard AB on the G&G is pretty mild, but agree if it's not needed it's better to not use it, all wasted energy as heat.
Hi, thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. To be honest I've never had any issues with the standard mosfet in the arp9. If your looking to save a bit I would stick with that. It can take the 11.1 and can do 3 round burst as you probably know. There are cheaper options than the perun for aftermarket but they won't be plug and play like it is and will also not have the programming options. If you have a fault with your current mosfet then I would recommend the perun as an upgrade or if your happy with a rewire then there are some great options from gate. Hope this helps.
It depends really. If your ARP9 is still performing as you would expect and hasn't started making any strange sounds then I would say no. I am a firm believer in "if it isn't broke then don't fix it". You will be fine with the Perun, it doesn't add any additional stress to the replica and its easy to remove if you want to do work on the replica and don't want to risk damaging it. On the other hand if your getting a loss of performance or it stops working then that would be an ideal time to open it up and repair /service the replica. I hope this helps.
what sort of gun would you recomend for the tazball field because i've thought of getting an mp7 adn so i thought with someone who has experience at this field what would you recommend?
There are a lot of options for gameplay at Tazball. It's quite a large site. There are opportunities for snipers as well as up close and personal. I really like MP7 replicas and one is certainly on my list. For a specific replica at Tazball it really depends on your playstyle. If your run and gun and like to be in the thick of it then you can get away with smg or close quarters style replicas. If you want to do a bit of everything then I would always recommend some sort of Assault rifle replica(in my case AR based). If your aim is long range and out of it then DMR or Sniper will also work. There are guys who use MP7's at Tazball already and enjoy. We get a bit of everything and it can all work. Quite a few lmg's knocking about as well. If your new to the game in general then I would always recommend an AR based replica for ease of maintenance, great selection of replicas and an equally great selection of magazines. I hope this helps.
Here is a link to a complete harness for a g&g Mosfet/ETU 2.0 which is pretty much what's in the ARP9, it's not cheap: www.patrolbase.co.uk/g-and-g-armament-etu-2-0-and-mosfet-3-0-for-version-2-gearbox-rear-wired?gclid=Cj0KCQjw39uYBhCLARIsAD_SzMTEJglzXcRZaXtlhtF9Kg5pWg-Qji2qBmSoVjKJBgVOwDWQ9OKV1BsaAtFeEALw_wcB However from what you've said is it only from the trigger to Motor you need. If that's the case you can make up your own using 14/16 gauge wires and motor spade connections. All available pretty cheap from hardware/electronics stores or online. Hope this helps.
No problem. Sorry to hear its been down so long. If your doing the work yourself it should be pretty affordable. The perun is quite reasonable. Wiring and spade connectors are also very affordable. Hope you get it back out on the field soon. Good luck.

Absolutely right. Generates unwanted heat which has adverse effects on any electrical system and also wears your motor brushes out more rapidly.
Hey, I really like the video. Would you recommend any cheaper mosfet for the arp9?

Would you recommend getting my arp serviced before I put the perun in. It’s standard arp9 put a few thousand rounds through.

@@rockbottomairsoft brilliant thanks for the reply. I’ll probably just put one in and get serviced at later date

Thank you man. Yeah mine has been broke for 3 years just never wanted to keep pouring money into repairs but I might get a perun ++
