- Claude Monet was a famous French painter, a founder of French Impressionist painting.
He lived for forty-three years, from 1883 to 1926, in his house in Giverny. With a passion for gardening as well as for colours, he conceived both his flower garden and water garden as true works of art. Walking through his house and gardens, visitors can still feel the atmosphere which reigned at the home of the Master of Impressionnism and marvel at the floral compositions and nymphéas, his greatest sources of inspiration.

That's the area where we got married in May 1992 as my wife is from there (born in the nearby town of Vernon). We contacted the Claude Monet Museum then, and its manager kindly gave us the authorization to use these gardens for our wedding pictures with a VIP access for free (no admittance fee, no lines). That was almost 30 years ago, but my wife and I still thank this lady for the exceptional wedding pictures we've made there. For the anecdote; though we went there early enough, before the rush hour crowds, there already was a group of Japanese tourists. They asked if we wouldn't mind them making pictures of us (a romantic French bride and her groom in a French romantic garden!), I guess that there still are a few photo albums in Japan with pictures of us on our wedding day.
You nailed it with two exceptions: the music is intrusive and inappropriate; the over use of a panoramic lens which doesn’t capture the intimacy of a home and garden lived in by a family as well as an artist. It was very informative and close up shots made me want to return. Thank you.

So beautiful, but the fast movements of the video are hurting my eyes, and is difficult to watch for someone with brain problems. The view is not normal, and makes it more problematic to watch. I have such a longing to experience Monet's garden and house, and that is the reason why I am sending you a comment. I would also love to hear music by his friends, like the French Impressionistic composer and pianist, Claude Debussy. I hope you will make more videos of Monet's garden, and with lots of details.
