I just picked one up a 1992 Mazda b2200 extended cab bought it out in wittmann Arizona for 450 bucks straight body lowered 3 in I'm going to have to put a new engine
So looking at the steering I did something similar on my Toyota. But I my steering flops around. Did you have to add a rod end to keep it from moving around?
Typically, if you only have two joints you don’t need a support- it’s only when you add a third in the middle, like to get around a header or something, that you need to add a bearing/heim joint to keep it from flopping. If you only have two joints, make sure they’re in line with each other. If you have them 90° off, they’ll bind up as you turn the wheel and you’ll feel everything tighten and unload. Just something to check- good luck!
This was definitely 2x3 and the floor was still stock… 2x2 would be super flexy I would think, unless you either doubled it up or ran a low cage setup.
It’s a 35 year old Mazda truck… if you want something to haul a lawnmower go get a new truck and let people have fun with these old minitrucks. You remember fun, right?
I have a 86 mazda b2000 that I'm working on , can't wait to have it done .
This is my favorite truck of all time. I would take this against any truck out there
I wanna see this thing finished up!!! NICE!!!
He’s got it running and driving- haven’t seen anything new lately though. If you’re on Instagram give him a follow: @old_man_dave1975
Sick Mazdawg. My first mini was also an 86 single cab b2000.
Can’t wait to see this thing done
Absolutely sick truck!
Honestly if i ownee this truck just like this... I would be extremely happy... i want a mini truck so badly!
Nice truck and video..
Love that it doesn't have an ugly taco bumper. Stock bumper looks best
I’ve seen the 92-95 4Runner bumper look pretty good on them, but a clean stock bumper works pretty well too!
Wooohoooo....mini trucks :)
I need more minitrucks in my life!
Always love a Mazda been kinda looking for another one getting hard to find now
They’re all so beat up now, it’s super hard to find a clean one!
@Twisted Images ur right about that last one I saw was Craigslist it was semi rough and the guy just wanted way to much!!
couple floating around texas near me...super high priced for the clean ones though

@howdy4596 You stole that truck. Here on the east coast that would of been 3,000$ with rust and problems

Drop in a Mazda 2.3L Turbo out of a Mazdaspeed6
I was thinking about that also .Thats the Miata engine right?
So, no mods had to be made to the trans tunnel?
Transmission tunnel looks completely unmodified on this truck- I’ll double check with the owner to confirm!
Yo! What are wheels spec? Do they fit in genuine inner fenders?
I’ll ask the owner- I believe they’re 18s, probably 7 wide
@@twistedimages405 thank you
Is it already done or anymore progress on this? Do you happen to know if he has an IG?
Check him out: @old_man_dave1975
I've been keeping track too!
Awesome thanks. It looks like I do follow him, cool!
2x3 box??? I thought it took 2x2 to lay pinch on the mazdas

@@twistedimages405 2x2 1/4” thick is what I’ve stock floored about 6 minis with. It drops right into the factory frame. I always lay body.
@@ntoxic8edx how much does something like that cost?
Now it's ready for the junkyard lowered like this and wagon wheels and thin tires on it, just messed up a nice truck really badly.
