Hank Hill Yea I've tried his gold version, didn't know if they had the same release or not. Definitely not a bad release, so I'm still hoping I get lucky enough to get him. I've played over 400 games (324-86) and the only blacktop players I've gotten are USA Durant, Ruby Mo Williams and Ruby Terry Cummings. They've all been alright but nothing special.
Tips to do better in blacktop: Only use shooters or at least players with an 80 open three or higher (three point cheese this year in blacktop is ridiculous and even if you can't play defense you can still win just by jacking up threes), on defense worry more about threes than layups (giving up layups sucks but in blacktop threes are deadly because they are worth twice as much as a layup, easiest way to lose a close game is letting the opponent get a couple open threes), and lastly make sure you know the ratings of all the players on your team and the opponents team (this might seem obvious but I cant tell you how many times I've seen people try shooting threes with a player whose three point rating is below a 60. If you don't know the players ratings you can check them by going to box score and pressing in on the right stick on the player).
Good luck when ypu get to level 10. Pink Diamond Isiah Thomas left my board twice...I really wish 2K got rid if the technical foul cards. So annoying! Keep up the awesome work!

Yeah, gauntlet last season was wide open/run and gun/transition buckets all day. Blacktop this season? CPU defense feels turned up. Advantage to off ballers. More half court sets. PNR. And trying to free up shooters on the perimeter.

That's what i hear about PC. That's ridiculous. Blake is usually 25-30K, We're on both PS4 and XB1 this season. They're pretty similar as far as MyTeam/auction house.

When the auction house crashes, really the only thing that sells are shoes and badges. I kinda wait for the dust to settle and wait for prices to go back up.
Besides the high flyers, is there any other collection you thinking of completing historic wise? take a look at Mavericks historic. Cheapest historic collection to complete and Rolando Blackman is literally the goat.
Durant Choked #BasedGodCurse I know, I have Larry. main reason I went for him is because he was super cheap to complete, heard good things, and I was bored. My point is, I understand the advice of not competing sets is a smart one. however, we don't know what 2k is going to do with new content. So as long as you research the player, and snipe the cards at a reasonable price at least while maintaining a good bankroll, I think it would be smart to do so while that teams packs are out because it's hard to complete the set later once the packs are gone for that team.
Right. I'm not totally anti sets. These historic rewards are really nice cards. And yeah, do your research. What are people saying about these cards? Compare the cards ratings. 93-95 ovr cards will be nice for a good part of the season. I just hedge on them because i want my MT free to make changes throughout the season. And I agree. Larry Johnson is a beast. Got a friend (BlessedLacey) who has the card. Plays a TON of online. Has prestiged once already. And can say nothing but great things about the card.
@spaceward I have Strategy question for you and also just tweeted you. Your vid got me from 600 cards to 1000 over the weekends spending about 150k, thank you sir. At 1000 cards this is where the reference collection video comes handy. The cards are getting more pricey at this level, jerseys, courts, coaches, logos, sneakers are now anywhere between 750 - 1500 mt. Should I pull the trigger on the up price or wait it out and get them for 500mt or under by lucky bidding? Its those rare raptor, cavaliers, trail blazer, Bulls, cards that are still rare and everyone is jacking up the price.
Congrats on 1000! Some nice rewards still ahead. I would say wait until THURSDAY - The new FLASHBACK packs will be released (released every two week). Auction house will be flooded with cards. Hopefully you have some time that day to work the auction house. Especially in the evening. There is a point though where you'll have to buy some items and overpay a little. But know that you'll get that back because there'll be that same demand for that item when you're ready to sell the collection off.

Video ist outdated now, once you've completed a collection you can't sell back the cards in it, they are locked wich sucks and makes it very expensive to get to 1600...
Actually it's not. I just went from 1700 cards to 2000 cards this week and got pink diamond Jerry West. The cost? 150k MT. And now I'm in the process of selling the cards off.
1. Not selling domination/historic domination cards = you are consuming contracts (that are worth more than the MT you get for each game). This means that, over time, if you don't sell these cards and only collect them, YOU ARE LOSING MT. 2. Buying cards IN BULK means you need a HUGE amount of MT to start with, which most people don't have. And at 5:09 you say that you can buy in bulk and sell them later for the same price you picked them up. One problem: TAX. The 10% tax means that even if you sell a player for the same price you bought, you LOST 10% of MT. Which means that, for many players, this is a HUGE LOSS. Conclusion: Grant Hill isn't free...
Seriously, what's your issue? No one is LOSING MT. Not if you know how to play the game and collect the free packs. And who said you're selling the cards back for what you got them for??? Worst case scenario it's possible - but we're talking about a 10% loss on a card you bought for under 2000 mt. That's nothing compared to what it costs to complete a team and historic team set to unlock a diamond card. Have you ever priced one out? If you're a smart player, you're working the auction house on days when new content is released and SNIPING the cards needed for your collection. Have you not watched any of our other videos? Conclusion - Grant Hill - I actually made MT in the process. Let me now if you have any more questions.

I'm pretty happy with Antoine Walker, Rodman, Oakley and Elvin Hayes (elite HOF hustle rebounder - and surprising lob city cheeser). I did make a big purchase last night. Added that ruby Shaq. Once I learned Shaq's duo was that new rewind Dwyane Wade, I had to pull the trigger. Boosted stats are amazing. Got a nice one/two punch now at the 5 with diamond Ben Wallace and Shaq.

Idk how you're making profit anymore. I ran the Heat Bronze players for the first 2 weeks of the game, got about 260k mt and the prices dropped. Im not able to snipe any badges anymore either. Im hopeless for making profit now on this game :/
Go to your lineup page. When you have the duos in the lineup, the duo icon lights up. In the upper right hand corner of the lineup page, the player's overall rating changes.

Go to "Lineup." When you have both cards in the lineup - the duo icon in the upper left hand corner lights up showing it's active. Then you'll see the card's OVR rating change. Then click on the card and flip it. You'll see what ratings are boosted. BUDGET BEAST duo! Instant lineup upgrade. Other duo boosts worth looking at - CP2/Deandre Jordan, Ben Simmons/Karl Anthony-Towns, Pau/Marc Gasol. Three of my favorites. Got thru domination and most of historic domination with them.
It's possible. New flashback packs and sets like rewind, high flyers, handles, etc. I just wanted to get to 1600 and get my MT back. Bernard King (collection reward at 1700) looked nice but didn't really need another diamond SF. I really like diamond Kiki and Grant. I've sold a lot of the cards back and have made some nice pick ups in auction lately - Shaq/rewind Wade duo, finished the high flyers set - love the cards in that set and reward Jrich. A set I didn't mind locking in the cards for. Love Jrich's HOF badges - lob city and poster. Also picked up that ruby AD. WOW! great card for the price.
Yeah, that was the issue with David Thompson last year. Dunk animations while insane would get blocked all the time which is why you could find that card last season for always around 20k. IDK - that Jerry Lucas looks nice too with that 88 open shot three. With a boost shoe, turn him into playoffs Channing Frye? :)
Spaceward Bird2 I will be getting him after I complete blacktop on level 8 and the grind is real. Channing Frye was straight cheese off the bench for me last year.
If you're careful with your pick ups, you can do it for cheap. 100K MT - you can get 400 items with 250 MT buy now (shoes, playbooks, jerseys, coaches, courts, logos) prices to add toward your collection. Then target silver cards under 600-700 MT. And golds and bronzes under 1000 MT. Then look at gold and emerald historics under 2000 MT.

Been playing the game since early tip off weekend. I really like working the auction house. Flipping cards for profit. Check out some of our other vids. We look for cards we can flip for 100% profit margin or greater.
How it works - you are renting the cards. Buying them to meet collection rewards. Then selling them back in auction. Going after the collectibles for 250 MT. Going after player cards under 1K.
Takes some hustle/effort but yeah, I got my MT back after picking up the Grant Hill card. Getting to 1600 cards was a challenge. Selling the cards back to break even was just as challenging. But it can be done.

Nobody clicks and expects weeks and weeks of hard work.. The expect an easy exploit or something like that.

Like this past weekend I picked up duo Shaq/rewind Dwayne Wade and that new ruby AD.
If you go budget - pick up all the shoes, playbooks, coaches, jerseys, logos for 250 each you can make a lot of progress. Then look for cards under 600 MT can find a lot of silvers. Bronzes and golds under 1000. Should be able to get 100-125 cards per 100K. Then go after gold and emerald historics for under 2000 MT.

Or on the play station 4 hit the up arrow on the arrow bad and it gives you a box telling you there basic stats

How do you snipe now I do the min 500 max 550 every 15 min and there are a ton of slivers that don't sell so how do you snip now

Video ist outdated now, once you've completed a collection you can't sell back the cards in it, they are locked wich sucks and makes it very expensive to get to 1600...
Actually it's not. I just went from 1700 cards to 2000 cards this week and got pink diamond Jerry West. The cost? 150k MT. And now I'm in the process of selling the cards off.

1. Not selling domination/historic domination cards = you are consuming contracts (that are worth more than the MT you get for each game). This means that, over time, if you don't sell these cards and only collect them, YOU ARE LOSING MT.
2. Buying cards IN BULK means you need a HUGE amount of MT to start with, which most people don't have. And at 5:09 you say that you can buy in bulk and sell them later for the same price you picked them up. One problem: TAX. The 10% tax means that even if you sell a player for the same price you bought, you LOST 10% of MT. Which means that, for many players, this is a HUGE LOSS.
Conclusion: Grant Hill isn't free...

No one is LOSING MT. Not if you know how to play the game and collect the free packs.
And who said you're selling the cards back for what you got them for??? Worst case scenario it's possible - but we're talking about a 10% loss on a card you bought for under 2000 mt. That's nothing compared to what it costs to complete a team and historic team set to unlock a diamond card. Have you ever priced one out?
If you're a smart player, you're working the auction house on days when new content is released and SNIPING the cards needed for your collection. Have you not watched any of our other videos?

Maybe you could handle that and pull a profit 1 month ago, but now, prices have settled and are only slowly going down, so it's harder to make a profit IF you buy dozens of players at the same time, like he shows... You have to be more careful now with your choices.

Yeah, Anthony Davis 89 ovr looks like a beast! Couldn't believe yesterday, too if you timed the auction update you could pick it up for around 60K on XB1. DEAL! I passed on it. I'm pretty happy with Antoine Walker, Rodman, Oakley and Elvin Hayes (elite HOF hustle rebounder - and surprising lob city cheeser).
I did make a big purchase last night. Added that ruby Shaq. Once I learned Shaq's duo was that new rewind Dwyane Wade, I had to pull the trigger. Boosted stats are amazing. Got a nice one/two punch now at the 5 with diamond Ben Wallace and Shaq.

Idk how you're making profit anymore. I ran the Heat Bronze players for the first 2 weeks of the game, got about 260k mt and the prices dropped. Im not able to snipe any badges anymore either. Im hopeless for making profit now on this game :/

Go to your lineup page. When you have the duos in the lineup, the duo icon lights up. In the upper right hand corner of the lineup page, the player's overall rating changes.

Go to "Lineup." When you have both cards in the lineup - the duo icon in the upper left hand corner lights up showing it's active. Then you'll see the card's OVR rating change. Then click on the card and flip it. You'll see what ratings are boosted. BUDGET BEAST duo! Instant lineup upgrade. Other duo boosts worth looking at - CP2/Deandre Jordan, Ben Simmons/Karl Anthony-Towns, Pau/Marc Gasol. Three of my favorites. Got thru domination and most of historic domination with them.

It's possible. New flashback packs and sets like rewind, high flyers, handles, etc. I just wanted to get to 1600 and get my MT back. Bernard King (collection reward at 1700) looked nice but didn't really need another diamond SF. I really like diamond Kiki and Grant. I've sold a lot of the cards back and have made some nice pick ups in auction lately - Shaq/rewind Wade duo, finished the high flyers set - love the cards in that set and reward Jrich. A set I didn't mind locking in the cards for. Love Jrich's HOF badges - lob city and poster. Also picked up that ruby AD. WOW! great card for the price.

Spaceward Bird2 Yeh it's crazy he also gets blocked alot for me. I used that ruby J Rich on blacktop and I'd take him all day.
Yeah, that was the issue with David Thompson last year. Dunk animations while insane would get blocked all the time which is why you could find that card last season for always around 20k.
IDK - that Jerry Lucas looks nice too with that 88 open shot three. With a boost shoe, turn him into playoffs Channing Frye? :)

If you're careful with your pick ups, you can do it for cheap. 100K MT - you can get 400 items with 250 MT buy now (shoes, playbooks, jerseys, coaches, courts, logos) prices to add toward your collection. Then target silver cards under 600-700 MT. And golds and bronzes under 1000 MT. Then look at gold and emerald historics under 2000 MT.

How it works - you are renting the cards. Buying them to meet collection rewards. Then selling them back in auction. Going after the collectibles for 250 MT. Going after player cards under 1K.

Takes some hustle/effort but yeah, I got my MT back after picking up the Grant Hill card. Getting to 1600 cards was a challenge. Selling the cards back to break even was just as challenging. But it can be done.

How much MT did it take you to get 1,600 cards??
If you go budget - pick up all the shoes, playbooks, coaches, jerseys, logos for 250 each you can make a lot of progress. Then look for cards under 600 MT can find a lot of silvers. Bronzes and golds under 1000. Should be able to get 100-125 cards per 100K. Then go after gold and emerald historics for under 2000 MT.
