Good review! Thanks for getting to the wind deflector information. There was nothing to explain it in video! Hell of a car! Mine will be coming in this week!
Such a marvellous car. I (still) have the previous Z4, the 35i, that is also a magnificent, extremely sexy car and I LOVE its interior also (which is a rarity in car-land that both the exterior is a real eye-catcher and also the interior is gorgeous). I will never part with my Z4, but I am seriously considering buying the new M40i also.
The Z4 30I is a bargain sports car. Especially in M Sport form. Worth every cent. The M40i is not. In that price range the mid-engine C8 Corvette (just a bit more expensive) is a far superior sports car in everyway. It's not even arguable. The M40i is just plain over priced. Period.
@@lharb704 Just priced a 2021 C8 Convertible 2LT with premium leather GT2 seats, $79K. A 2021 M40i comparatively equipped prices out at $73K. The M40i is ~ $14k more than a similarly equipped S30i M Sport. I would gladly pay an extra 6k for a C8 convertible before I'd pay 14k for an M40i over the S30i M Sport. The C8 is well worth the extra cash. The M40i just isn't worth 14k over the S30i M Sport.
@@aclosson8193 79K is definitely a great price for a convertible 2LT. Around here the cheapest I can find equipped like that is about 83 and change, all the way up to 93. An M40i with a moderate amount of options is about 70 priced on BMW's builder. TBH, I would probably go with the Porche Boxster if I were looking for an alternative but those can get crazy expensive with a lot of options.
I bought the same car 3 weeks ago. I love it.

The color is called Misano Blue Metallic. It's really nice but I like the silver with the shadowline package. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for your comment! Both colors are really beautiful!
This man gets it! F SUVs!
Nice review and insane car bro 🔥

Agreed!
Better car for sure but a mid-range 'vette (2LT) is about 85-90K. You can get into the M40i for about 70. That's quite a bit of difference.
