- This short clip shows the ceremony that gave transition of power from Flight-Lieutenant Jeremiah John Rawlings to Hilla Limann in September 1979. In December 1981, Limann would be overthrown by Rawlings, after his government failed to perform.

Please you don't even know what you are talking about, saying there was no corruption under Rawlings regime is a total lie.Does killing of people make him a hero, of course no. He executed Acheampong and others in the hands of corruption but he never dealt with corruption under his regime.Kutu Acheampong also did a lot for Ghana but only the bad side were recognized by Ghanaians.There is only one hero and true politician of Ghana, which is Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the rest are all corrupt. Read history and stop saying what you don't know.

Even more dangerously, to maintain our economic position on a global scale as it was before they came back into government.
