no I dont think so. the brother printer built is different from Canon or any other printer that can be modified directly to the nozzle.as for Brother,you dont need modification, only the ink cartridges are swap by the third party version.only need to tinker with the tiny latch swich to trick tthe door that its closed.you can add back the original ink with no problem and no need to compromise the printer integrity.this meaning, only work with specified third party cartridge for the model or model of is family.this model is DCP-J 125, DCP-J 315W, MFC-J 256 W, MFC-J 415 W.

hi, if you already checked that the ink is full,or you already install a new catridge you might need to do maintenance on the the printer,if you using any brother new brother printer or this DCP-J315w, you dont even need to turn on the PC, just turn on you Brother printer, push the menu button, there you can see ink management via LCD, and push ok. you might as well do the alignment just for sure.there is already a video that show you how to do that, here the link. give kudos to the uploader and the one who make that video. ruclips.net/video/RX-ZwbHdCME/видео.html

mohamed shihab Did you open the catridge cap? Try open it to help the flow and then repeat cleaning

i did not buy the cartridge online, at at pc store near my home for RM120. buy I put the link for you to compare...there are many supplier but i cant find the brand i used...buying this thing always has risk of cheated and damage of product..so be warned.theres no 100%sure, even when i purchase the product it cant work the first time because the vendor did not tell me that brother printer has safety mechanism that wont allow 3rd party cartridge tampering.
