- It was an epic fail as an 11-story office building was to be imploded by a demolition team in Dallas, Texas. Many watched as the explosion was supposed to level the building, but after the blast, the stairwell and elevator shaft were still standing. The newest addition to the Dallas skyline was quickly dubbed the #leaningtowerofdallas, as in that other famous leaning tower located in Pisa, Italy. #InsideEdition

That probably wouldn't be a very good idea considering if you look closely, there's some debris and a lot of dust around the elevator which would make someone who would've been inside it known as the ghost of the Leaning Tower of Dallas unless they were lucky. However, the question as to whether or not the tower _is_ haunted by some idiot who went to get their whatever right before the demolition and ended up trapped will probably never be solved... Unless the pole to make it a UNESCO world heritage site wins.

I was awake when this happened. I was sitting in my room in the morning, when suddenly I heard 4 loud noises. Felt like it blew out my ears. I had my window open too, to make matters worse. There was a huge cloud of dust, some even got into our yard. Jesus Christ.

Simple, the heat of the burning jet fuel weakened the metal.
Extreme heat melts/weakened metal, weight bends/crushed metal, the impact of the plane caused damage to the structure of the building, causing it to collapse.

@I Steal people durags and sell it back to them Well an jet plane exploding has a similar of not same sound as a bomb, as for people who sayed. they couldn't see the plane, it's pretty logical, ever seen a motorcycle/car traveling at 200mph? In a blink of an eye that motorcycle/car is gone. Imagine that in a plane that's way faster than a motorcycle/car, not to mention the smokes and other factors that distract/block them from seeing a plane.
Not to mention that the American themselves bombing their own is just pointless and a waste of life and money, they just got more negatives than positive if they did that, further more it's the world "trade" center.
As an American yourself you know that your government value trading, they wouldn't dare to destroy it and gain nothing for it.

it wasn't the plane per se. it was the jet fuel and the enormous heat caused by the intense fire that weakened the structure till it failed and the upper floors collapsed onto the lower floors causing the structure to come down like a house of cards

The elevator shafts and stairways were constructed around a central core of the building, with the vertical reinforcement. With a traction elevator (cable type elevator w/the machine room on the roof or less common basement) the structure has to be able to support the weight of the elevator cab, the machine, hoist ropes, counterweight, in addition to the weight of the passenger load.
This reminds me of Two Tall buildings that fell at that speed in New York back in 2001.
they should have hired a remote controlled plane, that worked well on the twin towers. It even brought down a 3rd building without actually hitting it.
