I love White Zinfandel, it's my favorite kind of Wine... We had it with Thanksgiving Dinner a few years ago and it goes great with almost everything. However, I don't recommend drinking it with anything that's very sweet. I was eating Fruit Salad and Candied Yams before I took a sip and it was like I had taken a bite out of a Lemon. That being said, it's amazing with; Ham, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing and fresh Green Beans. *;-)*

makes a lot of sense. having grown up with a taste for Bordeaux red ie claret or Veronese red ie valpolicella at the table, rose has the magic of both in being a beautifully still light table wine that can hold its' own with any red and any cuisine, has a lower alcohol level, is easier on the liver and constitution, and the value for money is a no brainer. I think rose cured me from having to only seek out claret and valpolicela for a lighter taste. Rose is i think a timeless table staple, with all the well known longevity linked health properties as well.
