It's amazing to see Matala full of life & so different to when I backpacked around Greece in 1983...& slept in one of the caves on the beach (May 83)
It was a very quiet place then, only 3 of us on the beach. A mid 20's Canadian couple & myself at 18yrs old. Clear blue skies & temps in the 80's.
Beautiful place...fond memories.
I must go back & reminise.
