Carrying on with James' view toward diesels, Rusty was the diesel Duncan told James about a while back, "teaching him how to stay on the rails and leaving him to find his own coaches." Wait until James finds out more about Rusty. He'll realize he's not so bad, and they have something in common, though insignificant, they each have the number 5. As for Peter Sam, I take my hat off to him for trying to get past. Hopefully he'll get some rest and wear the pain off for a while.
For goodness sake, can't Peter Sam EVER get a break around here? There's not one story where things go right for him. In fact, I'm wanting to swap his role here with Duncan and give Peter Sam *Pop Special* as a lead role instead.
I know right! XD First, he forgets the Refreshment Lady, then he gets damaged by some runaway trucks cause of Sir Handel, then he loses his funnel and now this!
i think because by series 3 and 4 they tend to add original or magazine stories, narrow gauge was used in series 4 you cant do a whole series narrow gauge and they was only in the series as thomas wanted more money and went on strike 😀😀
"Some of the passengers had knives too" I'm not even gonna ask why
They probably have them for self-defense and picnics.
Must be one hell of a picnic
Who knows? Maybe somebody bought some cake or steak or something. Besides, some people carry Swiss Army Knives.
True
Pocket knifes? It's not hard to imagine. Not all people who carry knives are maniacs with switchblades.
Another one of my favorite railway series stories
Duncan just pulling off the roast of the century so casually
Even for an engine that's definitely gotta hurt
Totally.

At least his special funnel has helped him a whole lot
Yeah but I like how Duncan is in pop special cause at least he's shown ok and not rude or grumbly
2:37 Narrow Gauge engines don't wear snow ploughs! At least I don't think so. There aren't any out there that fit such engines.
Goof in the last picture
Sir Handel is back
Duncan: They were only little branches.
In the TV series it's a fictional livery. On the Talyllyn, his prototype was black, but is now green.
in the books he was green
I think maybe the reason some of these never got adapted is because Christopher Awdry's puns were too painful for TV.

For a minute there I thought Duke was gone for good
