Just a quick tip. If you are moving long distance budget truck does unlimited mileage. However they do charge an additional fee for returning it in a diff city than you rented it in. (Which is stupid. I'm moving long distance. Duh.) Was still cheapest for me though. I don't keep credit cards so enterprise wasn't an option. Good luck guys. 💜

Thanks for your video. My self , daughter and granddaughter is planning to move to Georgia. I have family that has been living there for four years now. I am nervous,anxious and excited about the move from New York. After watching your video, I realize, I don't alone about the stress of driving down to Georgia, 16 hr drive. We decided not to take any furniture, or TV . We are going to ship our stuff via ups and take the rest in car .
Great video and I needed to hear much of this info. I'm very intrigued with the rent escrow process, I'd never heard of it before you mentioned it.

I'm moving there March or April! Well I'll be in Lithonia but I'm both excited and nervous. I've wanted to move there when I was still in NJ but ended up in Augusta, GA for 11 years. Listening to others is why I stayed so long but not this time! I'm listening to God and my own heart. I've never been this sure about anything.

I had no Idea renters insurance paid for rent incase of anything that's good to know. This was a great video it was a positive review. Most that I've watched has had so much negative to say.

I only saved up about 1600, and that was gone after I paid for moving trucks and etc. Depending on if you moving your furniture and stuff or just yourself you can really move down here with just your first months rent. But if you want to be safe I would say at least 2 and half months rent.

I had 2 bad apts in ATL area. Will you please share what area you are in? Please help w/ suggested area. The apts I was able to find within the price range you mentioned were roach infested. I'm from Detroit, so my definition of bad might be similar to yours.
+elisa west check the southside near camp creek area, MOST of those are really nice, gated, and arent too far from the city.

I'm want to move in August but my roommate is down there now God an internship...she can't stay passed May and wants to go to Cali if I'm not down by May but I know I can't get there until August...it would be better financially for me to move in August...

Lol in Cali it's separate gas, water, and electric. We have Edison for electric and where im from I have So Cal Gas. Another thing is that many apartment companies require that you pay ALL utility bills including sewer, trash and renters insurance.

How different were the prices on apartment.com & actuality??? Like were the prices correct ?
some prices where off, like if a apartment said 730 i'll call and it'll be like 795. Some of the rental people don't know what they talking about though, so when you call just say the price you seen online and they'll change their answer up real quick smh

Lmao I live in LA shoutout to us born and raised but yes girl it’s fuccin expensive 😂😂 and that’s why I’m getting tfK ASAP I pay $1,400 for 2 bed 2 bath not upgraded so yea I get it and I’m 23 only thing is yah don’t make nothing in Atlanta so how do yah actually afford your rent ???? $7-$9 minimum wage with $900+ rent don’t make sense to me but hey I’m from Cali and probably just don’t know
I’m surprised you found something for that cheap lol I couldn’t find a one bedroom for under 1500. but the tech industry is big in Atlanta apparently so they pay really well and most of us are entrepreneurs and hustlers, we just find a way honestly lol

Yea it's expensive as hell sometimes it's easier just to start over. She got a deal of the century we still payed a little over a thousand for 10ft u haul truck the smallest truck they had. The problem is the mileage and a one way trip it cost more. Enterprise don't even do one way trips you have to bring their truck back from the state you picked the truck up from...Best of luck to you!!!

Plus Cali STAY with the jobs, our weather is better than anyone else! The only thing negative you can say is CALI is EXPENSIVE! No cap! Lol
