Bc most ppl do other things while watching and it takes the focus off the screen. U need to have nothing else going on. Lights off and no distractions. Most ppl have kids and are easily distracted from movies and wonder why they never can get scared. U gta blue your face to the screen and block out all else. Put yourself IN the movie. Otherwise no movie ever made would be scary.
They might not terrify u but they have enough suspense and creep factor to get the job done. I’m a horror fanatic so I make sure if I’m watching a horror movie I gta do it right or I’ll ruin the entire experience.

The effects are really creepy but not cliché and, for once, the gore in the film is justified and doesn't serve purely as a cheap shock method. Notice the very end of the video, where it’s just the chair and the gas can? Like they suddenly vanished or were invisible? Those two were already dead by the time they tried to destroy the chair. Their ghosts were trying to destroy it so no one else would endure the same fate.
