- We're back with another deep dive into the wild west that is LFG Raiding. This time we have a girl that cannot jump, a titan that cannot seem to do the sparrow racing and a whole lot of groups that keep wiping on every Last Wish boss.

When jumping is harder than the raid lol
This was me last night. I could not get past the jumping puzzle before mergoth(the extra swole ogre I think that was his name)

if you want to beat a guardian, dont fight em head on give em jumping puzzles and vex geometry
That whole segment of "I can't jump." has the same energy as learning how to jump from your main character to your alt character. *cough* Warlock to Hunter.
For me it was hunter to titan
To titan is the worst for me. I die ALL THE TIME to platforming on a titan.
I’m currently going from Hunter to Warlock and god damn glide sucks, especially in the EAZ
@@noneontheair def takes getting used to, but once it clicks its clicks. I was a hunter main, mainly because of mobility but now I can maneuver better on my warlock then my hunter.
Honestly for me it was titan to warlock. I always activated jump a little too late, and just glide beautifully to death

Sis, I can assure you. Warlocks have it tough when it comes to jumping.
Warlocks go far horizontally.
They just can’t go up once they go down.
Warlock jump is easy, they just dont have the ability to lift once they drop

@@bryanjeff2072 that's a matter of personal preference and there are pros and cons to all 3 of the jumps.
Warlocks can fly the furthest. Only downside is once gravity goes into a effect, issa wrap

I really wish more people were like Marco when it comes to lfg. The 'we're here to learn' outlook is really useful. Last time I did an lfg, i died once because my towering barricade didnt go down, we had played for 5 minutes and i was told to kill myself and our team fell apart

I remember I did a d1 raid and was new to it. We tried oryx only 3 times and on the last I screwed up because I was relatively new to the very last encounter and couldnt remember about the orbs. Instead of help me out or cool off, they kicked me. It was pretty childish and kinda irritating seeing as I was there for about 3 to 4 hours putting up with their mistakes in the easier encounters. The raid community can be very piss taking.
@@jacklancaster3531 even if someone makes 5 mistakes and you try to help them, you could accidentally not kill an enemy and the whole team will only blame you. I think you need to be really lucky to find a good team cos there were some kids I played with once on last wish, I got carried and got 1k first try and now we do loads of raids and I got the new rocket launcher first try on day 3 or sum I think. If you keep looking, you'll find some cool guys who you can do loads of raids with

You are raiding with the wrong team brother! Literally no raid with my team has ever been completed without an insane amount of trolling. We killed consecrated mind with 5x rat king and divinity! It was hilarious! Took us 3 phases but the memes are worth it!

I sympathize with the girl who was struggling with the parkour. The guy that kept reassuring her are the friends who keep me from giving up so much.

TBF the hunter was me when I did Zero Hour for the first time. Never did jumping on that level before so it was very hard
FUCKIN SAME! That Wall part was the bane of my existence.
TBF without stompees hunters can’t jump good but you can jump onto the sides of the pillars. Being a hunter myself and going through Zero Hour and Whisper a lot more than a normal person would, I’ve improved my jumping game with and without stompees.
Eff zero hero heroic the outside part on all 3 characters is hard af for me
Samuel Moss I hunter main it with high-ish mobility. If you ever want to game on PC I’m down. I help people with Zero Hour and Whisper as well as Heroic for both respectively.
@@valordawg2661 appreciate it man - I actually did it a long time ago and have the catalyst, I just wanted to chime in with how much I hate the platforming in zero hour. I have the unpopular opinion that platforming should never be in a fps.
I feel kinda bad for Frosty, that looked like some massive social anxiety to me :/
100% he didn’t want to be on the spot calling map. Honestly why I don’t raid much, you have to communicate well and quite often.

all you do is call out where the Fallen is and then what Orb Number got picked up.
You don't have to talk Fairytales.
Also, Social Anxiety or not, if you say in a Raid that you only want to kill things, then please gtfo.
At least say your a Orb runner or so, but never that you ONLY WANT TO KILL STUFF.
I mean, there Public Spaces for only killing stuff *Shrug*
And don't get me wrong, i have Autism myself and im Extremly Introvert, yet i Manage to play on every Raid Position despite my problems even if i struggle sometimes.
Raids = Everyone has to think, even if it's just a little bit.

I'm a girl gamer also destiny was my first ever game. Jumping was the absolute hardest part to learn. Girl. I got you. It's for real a learning experience. You'll get there.

Jumping is the hardest part of the game. Anyone who says otherwise just sucks at aiming, mechanics, and every other part of the game.

i main warlock almost only because i can basically jump across the atlantic ocean. it's really good for being bored and deciding to clip out of bounds for no reason.
this is why im glad i started with hunter.

The best part about raiding now after over 250 clears is honestly teaching, I've met so many people that you could consider under or at average skill level and tried helping them at raids and it's just so fun letting have a fun time raiding instead of just trying to get it done

Players like you are the reason I and so many others are worried to get into raids.
Imagine you are genuinely trying your best and still learning the game but out of nowhere, the sherpa turns out to be famous and rather than helping, they just laugh at you and posts a video for thousands of other people to take the piss out of you.
I have trouble even bringing myself to go on mic and nearly had a panic attack when an actor singled me out at the pantomime for only a few seconds so I can only imagine how horrible it would be to have almost two hundred thousand people laughing at you making an honest mistake like this.

I've got flashbacks from my raiding with clan, I'm that guy who is Hunter with Stomp-EE5 equipped and triple jump. When I see that we are at jumping, my reaction is like "OK, I'm going to orbit, I'll be back in moment, just tell me when you'll finish jumping".
I know why Marco is so good now. It's because he snorted some FOCUS with Gladd.

Omg, same, I had that happen twice XD I also had a hunter that I hit with a surpressor nade and I ran over and looked down and I saw him just sat there staring at the wall. I stood right next to him for a good while, then he decided to jump up, walk forward an inch, turn around, stare right at me, and turn around again as if I didn't exist. Let's just say the derpy hunter didn't last too long after that XD
Im actually suspicious if it wasnt one of my friends. He loathes pvp but sometimes comes in with us and he was determined to get a kill with sword hilts only. He got two kills over the match, impressive if ya ask me

This is why i haven't completed any raids yet, because everyone on LFG discords don't know what to do and the people that know what to do are not patient or dont wanna teach.
I played with a grp of friends to learn the raid but when we LFG'ed the experience outside the sherpa runs are usually absolute sh*t. Esp the impatient type. Chill, everyone needs to learn at some point

I have been in many LFGs. You are so kind and patient. I've seen sherpas that kick people for far less. I want to believe that most of the community is awesome, but the LFG community is really a toss up.

I did my first run of DSC last night and the jumping puzzles took me longer than it took our team to beat Atraks

I've done a lot of jumping puzzles that were a huge pain in the ass as a hunter. Just takes practice and patience. And stompees.

When I taught my friend to play we started with warlock. 10x better.
Was doing scourge with a couple friends and we needed peeps so we LFG’d and the first people we got were a group of European dudes, we couldn’t understand what they were saying and they left after they got the raid sparrow. That same day we got another guy who degraded everyone for being “slower than him” and told me to go hide in a hole during Dps phase after I died once, then proceeded to spam us with hate mail when we kicked him. Gotta love the destiny community 😂

Loving stasis for tricky high jumps, grenade in walls gives you another ledge to jump off, would be cool though say if a person wasn’t a good jumper if you could use say a tractor cannon to pull them towards you

This reminds me of a post on Destiny Reddit (yes, that cursed place) from last year, where someone recorded a Titan noob struggling with his/her jump while trying to dunk an orb in the first Menagerie room. The player couldn't do it for, like, 2 minutes lmao.
