STORY: This composition called Degollado. Why will you ask?? Because this is the name of the oldest historical theatre in Guadalajara city (Mexico). I got two times the opportunity to play here with Alain Caron and Jean-Luc Ponty. What i couldn't imagine is that all my life will take another direction from my first concert in this theatre. I started to met friends who became brothers. As i was composed and set up this video Idea, i had to make it in honor of this place that turned my life upside down !! hope you 'll enjoy !! thanks for watching. Damien

En ce qui concerne ce morceau et Damien Schmitt bin je ne partage pas ton avis.
Même si on met de coté l'enregistrement et le mixage horrible, dans lequel la basse et la batterie ont été volontairement noyé.
Je n'aime pas le son de ce batteur qui a le même défaut que Thomas Lang : Une incroyable technique mais un son plat comme l'encéphalogramme de sa musique.

Have you looked into how your family name stuck? Must be an interesting story behind it due to the meaning of the actual word itself Degollar is to slit a neck and Degollado obviously passed tense
@@Official_Sal_Gutierrez Yeah, the older I get, the more I look into the history. I learned that Santos Degollado is a distant uncle which is very cool! Also, I found that it's a beautiful town in Mexico. I would love to learn more about the true origin of the name! If anyone has any info, I'd appreciate a reply🙂

Just one thing that is on my mind. Is the bass that Isaac is playing another reference to Allain? If so, I loved it, if don't I loved it either.

De 6.16 à 6.58, la partie batterie me fait grave penser à ce que fait l'artiste Igorrr, cad avoir une batterie de ouf (surtout vers 6.52 où là, j'ai clairement l'impression d'entente une batterie de Death Metal) qui dénote avec l'instrumentation générale ! Je trouve d'ailleurs que Damien serait un super batteur pour Igorrr (non que le batteur actuel soit mauvais, au contraire), à mon sens il serait super fort en batteur breakcore/Death.
En tout cas, pouce bleu et bravo pour ce travail de compo, j'adore !
