I think people forget that being a stay at home mom isn't as easy as we think. COVID proved that. A lot of parents couldn't handle being at home with their children. Take the fact that she is doing laundry for 6 people not one or two---6. I'd be mad too if after i just picked up after the kids and cooked (because southern people don't play with meals) my husband comes home and drops all his clothes in the floor right at the door after he cheated on me for most of the marriage. Sometimes it's the little things that build up that cause a problem. He really wasn't ready and she's resentful now.

Yeah, I disagreed with that too. My ex would come in and make HUGE messes and that pissed me off. He did it whether I worked or not though. Cleaning, cooking, and child care are literally things you can get paid pretty well for. A lot of people just don't or sometimes can't do those things. Especially men. It's work. Also, a lot of jobs have a least some of one of those things in them like working at a restaurant or daycare.

Yeah, I disagreed with that too. My ex would come in and make HUGE messes and that pissed me off. He did it whether I worked or not though. Cleaning, cooking, and child care are literally things you can get paid pretty well for. A lot of people just don't or sometimes can't do those things. Especially men. It's work. Also, a lot of jobs have a least some of one of those things in them like working at a restaurant or daycare.

I’m sorry. I work from home full time and we have 4 children in the home. Everyone is assigned chores including my husband and he work 16hr shifts sometimes.. he better not come throwing his work clothes everywhere. Over time that can be nerve wrecking.
