Route:
Driving test centre left into Grange way.
End of road left into Whitehall road.
Mini-roundabout right into Old Heath road.
Crossroad ahead into Military road.
St Botolphs roundabout ahead towards A12 into Southway.
Southway roundabout left towards Maldon into Maldon road.
Maldon road 4th road on the left into Salisbury avenue.
End of road right into Butt road.
Mini-roundabout ahead.
Crossroad left into Layer road.
Double mini-roundabouts towards Mersea (ahead first mini-roundabout, left second mini-roundabout) into Berechurch Hall road.
Left into Berechurch road. End of road left.
Crossroad ahead.
Next road on the right into Meyrick crescent.
End of road right into Mersea road.
2nd road on the left into Bourne road.
Crossroad right into Old Heath road.
Mini-roundabout left into Whitehall road.
Next road on the right into Grange way.
Right back to the driving test centre.

Hi, please, when to indicate left at southway roundabout when going to Maldon road? Is it before or after the exit of police station?
You can indicate either before or after as there no entry for normal car anyway.

!!! При выезде из Bourne Rd на перекрёсток, прежде чем повернуть направо на Old Heath Rd, обязательно нужно следить за встречным движением и если нужно, остановится у середины перекрёстка. На дороге нет никаких разметок и у светофора нет дополнительного знака со стрелкой на право, ты просто видишь когда загорается зелёный свет и уверенно думаешь что для тебя путь открыт. Но всё не так просто.
Натали, если на перекрёстке у вас сплошной зелёный и вы собираетесь повернуть на право, вам всегда надо проверять на наличие встречного потока, так как у них тоже зелёный. Транспорт, который едет на лево или прямо имеет больше приоритета над транспортом на встречной полосе, поворачивающих на право.
Hello I have my test soon and my instructor has told me that the maldon road is now classed as the second exit as the police station is classed as the first now is this true?
Yes, I do say the same to my pupils. But if you not sure where to go on the roundabout during the test is best to ask your examiner what direction you need to follow and name them: Maldon, Lexden or All other routes. I’m sure you practised to follow either direction.
Just be careful, if you in the wrong lane and you ask examiner where to go too late, he will reply: “do what you think is right”! So make sure you realise what lane you are and follow direction you can go from this lane. Hope it helps!

@@bibincmani My advice is to book your test at the location you live. You will be familiar with the roads. If you do test in Colchester make sure you have a plenty of practice. I have on the Chanel 8 routes out 20.

I think you drove all the way without signals
