Still the best Xenoblade game, if only they did not have to make so many cuts to the story due to time/money issues during development. Someday maybe they will remake it and do the story proper, maybe Switch 2 can do it, not putting any faith in that but if any game deserves at least a sequel after the ending of the original its this one.
@@Linuslkm he just heard some rumor, but the idea about fixed protagonist is true. Monolith scrap the idea of fixed protagonist for character creation because they wanted XBCX more like MMO
as someone whos kept their wiiu, Learned to hack it and Dumped this game themself to play on cemu, my game never got to look that pretty!!! Would you mind Filling me in on what exactly this is you're showing us? cause i would love to play Xeno X that much more if i could get it to look like this~!
It can't. The switch version will run at an unstable 30 fps and 1080p without raytracing. It will have better lighting than the original, and 1080p is better than the og too, but it won't be this high fidelity.
@stragomagus9922 No, this is the WiiU version, played on a PC using an emulator with an RTX mod. The switch is barely more powerful than the WiiU, and can not use ray-tracing. The video itself came out about a month before the switch version was announced.
Not really? It definitely looks better than anything the switch can do. Only thing is if the switch version gets emulated and has graphic improvement mods
@@lancelnce It has extra content. Probably also extra censorship (I hope not, would prefer if they removed the censorship that was already present but I don't see that happening). That said... I honestly think this 8K one doesn't look that great. It looks overly sharpened, overly saturated and seems to use some filters that make some things look weird. The water also looks kinda bad. Moon view looks really good I guess.
@@thenonexistinghero Well it's not going to have extra censorship for sure (not sure where you got that idea from, they're not Sony). Will it be the censored US version, maybe. We know they usually prefer the most up to date version, as Tokyo Mirage Sessions went with the censored US version and Mario 64 in Mario 3D All Stars was the Shindō version (updated version that removed many of the glitches speedrunners like, but added new things like rumble)
@gligarguy4010 Nintendo is involved with DEI stuff and they do have a history if applying extra censorship or changing things. Paper Mario TTYD also got reverse censored. They still censored it but in reverse way to promote alphabet people propaganda (which is also just as different from the original Japanese context). Noy sure if Xenoblade DE received any dialogue changes, but at the very least they censored blood and made it black/dark. They also did stuff like removed the first shot of Sharla which focused on her butt. I have no idea why you think this won't receive any censorship. Nintendo's recent history shows it's almost certain there's going to be extra censorship.
@@thenonexistinghero I played TTYD (both the original and remaster) and...no? Wait did you play it? If not, this is a pointless conversation because I have no reason to discuss games with someone who doesn't play games lol
Who's watching this the day after definitive editions announcement? :D
Me
me too
Me!
The irony is this video didn't get served to my wall until after the announcement.
Everything in this game is light years better than XC1, XC2 and XC3 combined.
Agreed, its the best of series.

Xenoblade 1 was the best but this was good too
XENOBLADE X DEFINITIVE EDITION EXIST
Wait what they did? I tought that was the vision for the story to later be continued
@@Linuslkm he just heard some rumor, but the idea about fixed protagonist is true. Monolith scrap the idea of fixed protagonist for character creation because they wanted XBCX more like MMO
Well do I have news for you my friend
We need a definitive addition to this game with everything that was originally meant to be included implemented in.
It just happened
Ask and ye shall receive
incredible news
Looks like this post aged well.
Looks really good!
That low res HUD can never be undone lmao
Wow! How is this possible?
What if Definitive Edition looks like this on Switch 2
Is this CEMU? How many fps? It looks smoother
You can go up to 165 and above I think, I tried it a year ago

Rename the Cemu exe to FarCry5 and when you launch the game use the Nvidia filters and select the RTX RTGI, I am probably mis-naming it there.
XENOBLADE X DEFINITIVE EDITION EXIST
@XenoUniverseVideo I SAW 👀 xenoblade fans get everything they want lmao
@@bryanschultz5241 Thanks to Nintendo and MonolithSoft 🥹
Cemu do this
Looks nice. How did you do it?
He downloaded a pirated version of the game to his PC, ran it on a WiiU emulator, and then modified the game using the emulator.
Which mods are you using ?
This video aged like milk.
Blud said: "No remaster? Alright, I'll do it myself"
Then Nintendo released the announcement trailer after few weeks 😂
guess this already count as definite edition eh
👍❤
Switch 2 version lol
can we use technology to remove the cringe rapping from the otherwise great soundtrack?
I can’t believe the Switch can do that. Too bad it happens when the console is nearly dead.

Lmao get this shit outta here we got official DE now
Official DE still 720p 30fps
