    Thank you for another fun video. I’m going to try the EPP idea from Diane. I liked getting to see the demonstration. You have so many cute projects to keep you busy on this trip. Have fun and safe travels. ❤

    Thank you for that info. Everything was closed by the time we got to Hayes but I’ll remember your suggestions for the next time. We are falling in love with the west. I’m sure we will be returning.

    If you take I 70 through Kansas there is a quilt shop in Hayes Ks. In McPherson ks there is a new cross stitch store and a quilt store.. There is a quilt store in Minneapolis Ks. I live in Salina ks and use to quilt. Now I just do cross stitch. I made a grandmother's flower garden quilt. Sewing them together was great while traveling. Hope you have a great trip!

    Your trip sounds FANTASTIC! Last year my husband had I did a 30-day (7000 mile) road trip - Started in Sacramento, Ca…went through northern Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, southern Nevada, then home. My husband was pretty tentative about it as I made the plans, but during and after he’s sung its praises! We stayed in hotels; your way sounds much more fun!!! Safe travels!

    Sounds like a great adventure Cindy!!! I was sooooo happy to hear that you are running across older camping ladies in their 60's and 70's. When I retire in 3 years, I plan on buying my dream tiny camper and using it to do nothing but camp at retreats across the country instead of staying in hotels. My hubby says I'm nuts because I act like I'm 30 and not 60 but as long as I'm healthy, I'm gonna make it happen!! Safe travels and I'll definitely be watching! Hugs from NE Ohio.

      Oh, I encourage you 100%! You will have a ball! That’s what we did for the Primitive Gatherings retreat. It’s a great way to see the country plus you save money and then you can spend more of stitchy stuff! Thank you for always being loyal to this channel. Means so much!

    Place a folded towel on your ironing surface. Place your cross stitch piece WRONG side up and press from the back! Buttons will sink into toweling and be cushioned while the background remains flat for perfect pressing! Good luck. Have a great adventure. Good to see you back!

    Happy travels. I was so glad I got to meet you while I was shopping at Sew Sweet Quilt shop in Brunswick. Stop at Colour and Cotton in St Louis if you’ve never been, it’s a great shop. I’m fortunate to call it my LNS.

      Paula, you are so right! We ended up not being able to stay another day to go on Thursday. The drive from our campsite was just too far away to go on Wednesday night. But, we’ve gone to some other places that have been fantastic and will highlight in the next video. Please stay tuned and I hope you enjoy! ❤

    We played LCR at my retreat, with floss. It was fun. I stitch in hand all the time, and use the sewing method. It's much faster.
    Enjoy your trip!

    Are you using your cricut to cut your hexies? I just used mine to cut a quilt and it was amazing. Waiting on my tack easy to come from AU.

      @cindysadventuresinstitching  3 месяца назад

      Susan, I did not. Would you believe I gave my Cricut to my daughter in law and if I miss it a lot, I think I’ll buy another. I should have started using it from the get go for this quilt.
