    I approach it very similarly. When I'm trying a new skill or adding new kit, it's always super slow until I never screw up a rep. Then the speed and intensity increases. I do leverage airsoft in my training. Builds muscle memory and you can start to see how rounds may strike in high/simulated stress. Build those reps and move to live fire. You always need the sight, sound, and smell of live rounds going downrange to drive home all the reps you just put in.

    Great way of delivering the info.. your naming phraseology should be held as industry standard on all things, it makes the concepts discussed extra sticky mentally. Would love to hear your “names” and thoughts on how many “types\ degrees of aiming” you think there are (ie the whole “point shooting v combat focus v non-traditional sight picture” .. people get so wrapped on the different terms used we need a Duffy simplification scale on that one
