im still stunned and inspired by how beautiful these are!
Holy cow, this works beautifully! It took me a couple tries on each step of the way (except the baking) and my beads look gorgeous! I tried both Fimo and Pardo translucent clay and liked the result using the Pardo much more.
Lovely work!!…I really enjoy watching your treatments with these transparent beads, very inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing!
I would thought that the cornstarch would have become hard after baking. This is great!
Such a painstaking and meticulous process.. don't ever let anyone tell you it's "too much trouble", because your work is absolutely beautiful. I love these hollowed out beads so much. now I'm hoping to find a link to your shop!

Thank you so much for your sweet words and for your support!
Hi, these are beautiful! The blossoming flower you made is my favourite. How did you attach the chain on the inside of it? And were these used as decorations or as jewellery? Thank you ❤
wow, just wow! I'm so impressed!
So you cover the homemade clay with translucent when it's wet and it doesn't become hard when you bake it? I wouldn't have guessed that. and then it comes off in contact with water?
amazing technique
It gets hard but when you soak it in water it dissolves. It's just cornstarch and water mixed well in a saucepan & cooked.
Waooouh ma Sandrita ! C'est magnifiiiiiiiique! Tu m'épateras toujours toi 😆 .Bravooooo ma belle! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💋💋💋💋💋💋

Magnifique ! Comme toujours.
I have made a hollow one using toilet paper inside as an armature then you soak it and the paper disolves. I like your idea to use the cornstarch.
Genious!❤😍
ma da dove ti vengono tutte queste idee??? sei una continua fonte di ispirazione... grazieeeeeeeeeee
Stunning!
Absolutely stunning! I can't wait to give this a go. Thanks for this tutorial!
So very beautiful!!
Love your videos, always easy to follow and I love making my own beads! Thank you :0)
Thank you for sharing your video. Loved the combination of the translucent clays and inks. May I ask you what you mixed with your corn starch? Did you bake the cornstarch bead? Or did you let the bead air dry then add the clay to the bead ? I love this technique!
She mixed water with cornstarch boiled it on the stove until it became thick and sticky , she let it cool a bit before working with it , then while it was still not dry she put clay on it and molded the flower then baked all of it in the oven , because starch shrinks as it dries it unnatached from sides of fimo flower and then she washed it out =)
That's beautiful 👌🏽
Gorgeous! Thank you.

so pretty 💕
Awesome!!!
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing and letting us admire your work!
I had never tried Pardo clay before, so I ordered some after viewing this and other videos. It is true that Pardo has a very translucent quality when baked. But it has black spots, grains about the size of table pepper that show up after baking.
It is not something ON the clay...it is in the body of the clay. Fimo isn't quite as translucent, but it also doesn't have the black constellations that showed up in the Pardo.
Again, this was a block ordered over the web, it was therefore shipped, and seems to have dried out from sitting in a hot truck, or was older clay... it is quite crumbly for a new block of polyform.
This is from my own experience...opinions may very.

I didn't get the measurements for the water and cornstarch because I need it in USA terms I went to get the cornstarch then watching again I just love this and want to try is it possible
to get them in USA terms?
Considering that you have access to the internet, Google has a free converter that you can use. It will convert the units in the video to "USA terms."
Sandra, do you suppose that you could put liquid sculpey on the raw, wet corn starch clay?
Super!
Hi Sandra! What are the measurements for the cornstarch mixture in American measurements instead of metric??
+hazelidgal63 In internet you can find conversion tables from grams to ounces. Greets :)
Thank you!!!!
lOVE IT
THANK YOU!!
I am going to try using colors in Pardo translucent I am thinking it is one part water to one part cornstarch ?
Amazing!!! How do you come up with these ideas? haha
woW! great video! will this also work with flower instead of corn starch?
no
Thank you got it cool
