I bought this chainsaw five years ago used for $30.00. The lady said her husband only used it to cut a few limbs and just sat there. I have used it to chop firewood and 16 inch logs from small to big. I just cranked it today after maybe 2 years in storage . Man! The sound and the power ! Two pulls and started. This thing is a beast!

I really like my 350...excellent for firewood. Mine also has a bulb for carb priming on the left side.

My Dads had this same chainsaw for roughly 15 years and both love it but only problem we have with it is starting it in the winters , we live in Australia and lowest temps we get in winters in our area is around 10c so still a warm winter comapred to other places around the globe. but after its run for abit it will start first pull everytime. Definitely going to give this a try using the decompression valve on cold starts.

Can someone tell me what is the purpose of pulling the starter rope out a little when shutting the saw down? Thanks...

"Push the decompression button in to start" is what I've been looking for! I have had trouble starting this saw I inherited. I am eager to give it another go tomorrow now that I know what position that button is to be in for starting!

I just put a new top end on one of these for a guy I work for I'm thinking about seeing if he will let me do a couple days work in exchange for the saw.

Good video. Got a 350. Can't figure out how to oil the chain.

Wish sometimes my Stihl 028AV Super Wood Boss had a decompression valve. Hurts the hand when it has compression and yanks hand out of hand.

I recently got a brand new Jonsered 2150 and after looking into it not being too familiar with the Jonsered named saws found out that husksvarna had aquired them some time ago and took the design and rebranded it the husky 350 here . my saw is pretty old it was the lady's husband's saw. he passed before getting to use it and it was never used but was stored indoors in a climate controlled place. my saw was made by Jonsered in Switzerland I forget the date code off hand. it was made quite a while ago though I do remember that. but it's definitely the nicest saw I have ever had . I have used it once so far and was cutting some really hard and large pieces of oak and it handled it with ease. no primer to worry about and it also has a decompression valve . overall I absolutely love the saw and it feels really good in the hands . like it's got some real quality . like I said I was unfamiliar with the name but after looking into it I was knocked over at the price they went for . so much as to go and ask the lady if she was sure and tell her what it was worth. bless her lol she laughed and said I told you it was a nice saw and I know what it cost and laughed. she just made me promise it will get used and I won't get rid of it so I happily obliged.

Husqvarna has created almost twins except for some cosmetic changes for some time.
Husqvarna owns the rights to the names of several saw manufacturers it has purchased over time.

@@WestCoastMuscleSaws from what I read the Jonsered saw I have was being made by them right before husksvarna bought them out. I have come across several forums and it seems the consensus is that the Jonsered saws have slightly better quality then the husky 350 . Myself I couldn't say as I'm not a saw expert. I'm also under the understanding that all the hop up kits and parts for the husky 350 can be used with the Jonsered 2150. I don't see myself going that far with it I'd rather it be stock and it's plenty powerful as it is for what it's intended for . I also have an older Homelite 4618c 46cc saw that is in good condition and was what I had been using until I was bestowed the Jonsered. But that Homelite seemed to be pretty good for it's price . It did what I needed it to do and works well enough that instead of getting rid of it I keep it for a backup saw never hurts to have more than one right haha. But there is definitely a huge difference in build quality and feel and definitely performance with the Jonsered vs the Homelite.

      Great you find it.
In bit wood please use fresh gás and 1.40 ir 2,5% and let it cool every long cut,Please assure bolts in mufler are hard and strong because the plástic chassi is melted if hot gases escapes from exaust when join is Open. Please keep your Chain charp and use gás gás to cool you piston let it sit some time when intense use and have a safe work.

I have a huquvarna 350 I love it is there a chain specifically made to rip felled trees instead of crosscut say like a sawmill type set up ???

    • @TheGdcb
      @TheGdcb 4 года назад +1

You have to resharpen your chain to 5-10* but this saw is too small to do a lot of milling. Husky recommends a saw with more bottom-end torque.

For sawmill smallest Husqvarna I would use would be a 372xp.

The 52cc model is one of the best mid sized saws ever made the 47cc is not the same but it's a good saw but they call it a 350 as well I don't understand it

Coldest-blooded P.O.*. I've ever owned. Trouble starting and staying running since new. Have kept the thing immaculate, service the chain sprocket every time I use it, have replaced and gapped plugs, installed premium plugs and replaced spark cable to no avail. Have tried different choke settings, removed and cleaned plug, no difference. Takes about 30 pulls to have it run for 5 seconds, then stop. After about four of these sets, it runs for about 30 seconds then dies when you try to use the handle throttle. Took it for service, and improved for about two hours, but service tech said these like to foul plugs no matter what you do, recommending a real chain saw...Stihl. This one is going to the curb for some sucker to take and be frustrated with. Don't even waste your money or time on this weird brand Chain saw. Just like weird Swedish cars, it's hard and expensive to repair, and bad design. Buy conventional stuff built locally by people that actually speak our language.

There's a screw on the bottom end that gets lose and draws air it happens to the 345 aswell need to take out the screw or maybe it fell out from vibration but the 345/350 are notorious for this need to put a screw in it but make sure to seal it before put screw in it
