The perfect time to bring Dino Crisis back would have been between the time of the Jurassic World films being in vogue. A new sequel would have been ideal, a remake of one of the first two would have been really good. Hell, simply a port to modern platforms if they wanted to put no effort into trying to catch people’s attention would have been better than the nothing they did…unless of course they use that as a false narrative to say people didn’t want a new entry because they didn’t support their half-ass efforts, so maybe the nothing they did may actually be better for the franchise in the long run.
Hoping to see the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy on here someday.
He better add FFXV to the list and as part of the XIII what happened saga
Was XIII actually bumpy development wise?
I know XIII-2 was a pretty bad game but that doesn't really make the trilogy wha happun material on its own
@@1stCallipostle XIII was, the other two games dev cycles were fine(mostly because they recycled everything) XV has development hell story.
@@lacasadelvideojuego3880 And with the shitty CG movie and the cancelled DLC episodes[screwing people out of getting to play as Lunafreya and development for her and other characters] there are problematic issues for FFXV. To its credit, it thankfully didn’t end up like Duke Nukem Fornever. Noctis was pretty cool, especially in his guest appearance in Tekken 7[though he felt like would’ve fit more with Soul Calibur but he was still fun]. And they had a pretty good anime prequel OVA short series. Plus the graphics and food looks way better than Cyberpunk which came out almost half a decade later. On the other hand, hope you love Cup Noodles product placement.
@@1stCallipostle XIII and what became XV had a lot of promises and ambition that just didn't come together; along with a few more cancelled projects that were supposed to have been related, those two would make a great video.
I do question if XIII-2 and XIII-3 have anymore to them besides "and then we let the intern write the plot and made money off of DLC outfits", though. Perhaps they do but I doubt it.
Wasn’t expecting to hear Nine Teen 90 Nine today by sir Frederick himself.
His way or the highway.
Oh god Prey 2... please do that please!
The year is 2021, I can't stop... addicted to the shindig...
Chop Shop says you gonna win big
The narrator asked if anyone knew about anymore dead franchises. Here's one: the "Ecco the Dolphin" franchise.
Loving the wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man animations there Matt
At least you didn't mention a game that you'll have do on this show later again. You know, like what usually happens.
gonna suggest a What Happened? of Drawn to Life: Two Realms
despite loving the game and being glad the franchise came back in some form, it definitely seems like there were a lot of issues during development
i hate how much laugh tracks work on me sometimes 😂
How to make a Dino Crisis remake: Use the RE2 Remake template and add in dinosaurs
Until today I actually didn't knew there was a third Dino Crisis.
Lucky you. I have bad memories playing this waiting for Regina to pop in later down the line so the game would make any amount of sense
You're not missing out. I got about halfway through the game high as a kite on copium. Back then I loved dinosaurs and couldn't buy games often so I tried to convice myself it was good.
My strongest memory of the game was the just constant, burning feeling of being pissed off all the time. Everything sucked about the game, except maybe the cutscenes.
I really want a Dino Crisis remake with the RE Engine.
Great content as always!
Since 'Spiral' is coming up, it'd be neat if you covered the two Saw games from Konomi.
