Any wrestling fan knows that Buddy Rogers did continue wrestling. He wrestled Ric Flair when flair was champion. Plus he ran a wrestling school in New Jersey

It's as if Robert Mitchum dyed his hair to play a heel wrestler. What a star.

Is it me or would the guy who plays Terry Silver in Cobra Kai make a great Buddy Rogers in a biopic?

What an Amazing story he has. Living on the road, behind the curtain waiting for his match.
Later, he'd need a ride to safety.

The parallels between he and Ric Flair as unreal. The Bruno story is you "do the deal" on your way out, which is what he did and probably part of the reason he was used in the late 70s and early 80s by the then wwf

Amazing how they ignored Buddy's comeback in the Mid-South including matches against Flair.

It would have been nice to hear about. Was he big in Mid South?

How did Rogers beat Sammartino 11 times the past 2 years. Sammartino was in Canada and Rogers was defending the title in the USA. Sammartino was banned in the USA. Bullshit to the end.

Beckley WV, drawing 15,000. That's above 100% attendance of the population. That means they came out of the hills to see the matches. Wrestling will never see that again. Hell, no entertainment will. Not under current circumstances!
