We'll see who actually signs then I'll get excited about this class, to a certain extent as the past 3 or so (NIL ers) seasons have shown for LSU and every other relevant program that there is at least a 50% attrition rate for each recruiting class so half of the guys that sign won't ever play or wont be returning as has been the average over the past several years and isn't going to change unless contracts are finally utilized for ncaa football.
Coach had mentioned this week $17 million dedicated budget for the roster which I am not sure how that budget compares nationally but must be a sufficient amount for the time being simply based on who's at least interested verbally in suiting up in the purple & gold next year as this sport is like most games available in the App Store ...it's pay to play/win so while they may be intrigued by this or that about LSU its the $ that will determine who they sign on the dotted line for

We’re currently 12th in the country, but we’ve got 4 kids who will be announcing their commitment to UT over the course of the next 4 Saturdays, 3 of whom are high 4 stars, & then the #1 rated tackle in the country come August 17th; yeah, we’re headed up into the top 5 for sure. You don’t have to have the #1 class in order to be competitive and play for Natty’s, Michigan didn’t even have a top 15 class last year, nor did Washington even have a top 20 class, & yet they played each other for a National Championship..
